ALFIES POV
My house on the island is full of boxes, three lemon-yellow and cream removal vans are parked in the drive and my parents are rushing around the house arguing and being generally stressed out. It was going to be a long, long trip back to rainy old Brighton, where we have a 4 bedroom townhouse waiting for us on the seafront.
ZOES POV
Today is the day Alfie comes back. Well the day he leaves. It's a 25 hour flight back! He's going to be back tomorrow early evening and I have organised something very special for him! All of our old school friends and I have planned a very special surprise party, held tomorrow night at 7pm. 'Welcome Back!' will be written on a big cloth banner, hanging from the ceiling at the end of the town hall we have rented out for the evening. Blue, green and purple balloons will be scattered in the corners of the room and a big banquet will be open to all the guests on a pull out dining table. I have arranged with his mum a few extra things, including the invitation in the hall when he walks into his new house.
