I ran down the block to the cafe being a few minutes late. I slowed down and opened the door to the cute storefront and saw Changmin and Moonbin behind the counter.
"Hi sorry I'm late," I said and made my way to them.
"It's okay, here's your apron," Changmin said handing me a black apron with Astro Cafe embroidered onto it.
The kitchen door opened and who I'm guessing is JinJin. He had a tray of sweets and pastries. He placed it in the display case and went back to the kitchen after saying hi to us.
"That was JinJin our cook," Changmin said and showed me how to make a few things. They opened the shop and it took a little while for someone to walk in. It was a guy around my age. He was wearing a pink sweater and had round glasses on with black rims.
"Hi can I get an iced black coffee," he asked.
"Sure that'll be $2.50, "I said as Moonbin started making his drink. He gave me a 5 dollar bill, I gave him his change and drink. He sat at one of the tables by the front of the store. Around 7:45 it got busier from the people going to get coffee on their way to work.
The first guy from today came up again and ordered another iced black coffee and a buttered croissant. I gave him his order and watched as he walked out of the store.
The day went one and the last customer I served ended up being Matthew who was picking me up.
He dropped me off at home because he and Junghyun hyung are having a late lunch date. I went to my room and started a series on Netflix called The Umbrella Academy because Chan and Felix told me that I needed to watch it.
