The week I was in Seoul past and I went home to Busan. I'm on FaceTime with Mingyu, BamBam, and Yugyeom. They were trying to convince me to move to Seoul and live there so we were closer.
I heard the door to the house open and heard Matthew and Junghyun's voices talking. I said bye to them and hung up the call.
I ran downstairs and saw Junghyun with a giant smile on his face. This is the happiest I've seen him since coming home.
"I picked up some takeout after work for dinner tonight, and I have some news for both of you, "Junghyun said with the big smile on his face.
Matthew and I sat at the table after grabbing something to drink while Junghyun grabbed the plates and forks.
Junghyun walked out of the kitchen and put the plates on the table. He took the container of food from the paper bag they were in and placed them on the table. He sat down and said, "Before we eat I need to tell you something," he had a giant smile still on his face, "Kook you know how Yugyeom, Mingyu, and Bam want you to move to Seoul so you're closer to them," he asked me. I nodded slowly no knowing where he was going with this and he continued to talk, "My boss gave me a job offer in Seoul with higher pay," he said, "What do you guys think?"
We didn't talk, we sat there without mouths wide open."Aren't you happy," he asked, his smile faltering.
"I can't wait to tell the guys, "I suddenly said with a huge smile on my face.
"What are we going to live in there," Matthew asked.
"The company is putting me in charge of the department that I work in here, there, "He said, "Since I'm the boss the company will be providing us with a house and company car," he said.
"Really, "Matthew asked sounding excited.
"Yep, "Junghyun looked proud of his achievement.
"When would we move," Matthew asked.
"In about a month, that is going to be a week before the guy in my new position retires," Junghyun said happily.
For the rest of dinner, we ate in silence happily. Matthew couldn't sit still with the knowledge of this good news and I couldn't wait to tell the guys that in a month I'll be living in Seoul.
I finished dessert and ran upstairs after kissing both Junghyun and Matthew on the checks thanking them for dinner.
I grabbed my phone and was about to call them when I thought about surprising them when I move there. I fell asleep happily dreaming about all the things I could do when we moved.
