It all started with a letter. A letter from people I knew long ago and adored long ago. It was an apology letter that all of them took part in. I read it in my bedroom and could feel tears well.
'We're sorry for everything.' 'All we want is your forgiveness.' ' We've been thinking about our actions and we regret them.' ' You don't have to respond or even see us after this, but we just want to know that you forgive us.' ' What we did was wrong and honestly don't deserve your forgiveness.'
Memories from 7 or so years ago flooded my mind and the tears come out more violently. I tried to brush them all off but to no avail, they just came streaming out again.
"Daddy, why are you crying, "Alexa our adopted daughter said peering around the door to my room. I held my arms out and she ran over to the bed and jumped on and hugged me.
"I'm just thinking about my past and people from it, "I said as she nuzzled closer to me.
"But Daddy, please don't cry, it makes me and Appa sad to see you cry," she said looking up at me with her big round eyes.
Her little hand shot up to my face and her little fingers became whipping the tears away one by one."Are you ready for school yet, "I asked as she was satisfied with the tears being gone.
"Appa picked my clothes out, and told me to get you, Daddy, so you could help me change," she said.
We got up and walked down the hall to her room and I helped her change."Do you want Daddy or Appa to bring you to school today, "I asked.
"Can both Daddy and Appa bring me to school," she asked with big pleading eyes.
"Sure anything you want pumpkin," I said and we went downstairs and to the kitchen where Hyun-Su was drinking a cup of coffee.
Alexa grabbed a cup with chocolate milk and pretended to drink coffee. She giggled and smiled as we all left to bring her to pre-school. We got in the car and I buckled her in before we drove to the pre-school.
We got there and we brought her inside. She hugged both of us before she ran over to a table where other kids sat coloring. She waved to us as we left and we both went home.
I don't have to go to work today and Hyun-Su is working from home today. I made myself a cup of coffee and sat in the living room and read a book. A few pages in I remembered the letter. I grabbed my laptop off the coffee table and looked at the tour dates to see when they are in LA.
2 weeks, 2 weeks is their back to back show in LA, Friday night and Saturday night. I called the number that I have for Hoseok on my phone. I dialed the number hoping it was the same as it was all those years ago and the call went through.
"Hello," the voice rang.
"Is this um Hoseok, "I asked.
"Yeah, this is he," the voice said.
"This is Jungkook, um I got your guy's letter," I said.
"Jungkook, really, wait let me wake the other guys up real quick," He said and then rustling could be heard from the other end
"Kook is that really you, "someone else asked.
"Yes, "I replied.
"Everyones here and wake now, "Hoseok's voice rang again.
"Okay, about your letter, um I thought about it and yeah, I can forgive you, I just don't know about being friends, we can keep in contact and see if after a while I'm ready to or not, "I said.
"That's cool we respect that, "Someone said.

A few months pasted and Jungkook spent time with his old bandmates. They got close but Jungkook still felt eerie about it. He didn't want to be friends with them and he felt like they were doing this almost to clear their conscious.
All restraining orders were taken ways and Jungkook would text with them on a weekly basis(mostly because he's to nice for his own well being) and when they would be in LA they would all go out to eat with each other.
The past wasn't easily forgotten or forgiven but Jungkook let his past leave him and forgave them for their actions. He had introduced his daughter and husband to the group and it all went over smoothly.
And over the years the group slowly decreased in popularity and disbanded. They all stayed in touch after the disband but they didn't visit Jungkook as much since he was in LA and not Korea.
Jungkook never really went out of his way to tell them when he was coming back to Korea since that was the time he got to spend with the people who meant the most to him, the members of Got7, who were still a group even after a few shitty comebacks their fans were still strong and they were happy to still be a group with as many fans as they had.
Their popularity had slowly incrested and decreased because of those few shitty comebacks but they soon found their perfect sound that both they liked and their fans liked and now they just keep getting more and more popular.
Jungkook and Hyun-Su as still very much in love and happy while their daughter Alexa grew up happily with her two dads.
Jungkook didn't have to work at a cafe anymore because they made enough money off of his YouTube channel and Hyun-Su's job(did he own the company?) (i'm not sure but whatever i'm too lazy)
He opened his own cafe and now was very successful with that business. They lived a very comfortable life in their big house and with their expensive things but if you just randomly met them on the street you would think that they were your average middle-class family.
