Meeting a friend

Apart from English I was able to keep my distance from brogan. Walking through the canteen doors I looked around the room for an unattended table to sit at. everyone's eyes were stirring at me intensely and judging me again, like this morning. you could tell they were judging just my their facial expressions.

Finding a empty table at the back I quickly made my way across the room. Sitting down I took my phone out my jacket pocket and plugged in my head phones. Listening to asshole I drowned all the chatters throughout the room.

Not noticing anything around me I hadn't notice the pretty girl sitting right in front of me.she had blueish/greenish long hair to her hips and bright sparkling eyes.she was so skinny as well . why can't i look like her instead of this ugly , fat thing which shouldn't exist.

Taking out my headphones I put my phone onto the table.bhvvthe girl across smiled at me." hi my names Riley, your the new girl arnt u?"

"Yep that's me, winter Brookes at your service how may I help?" I asked trying to be funny but failing miserably. laughing her head off Riley spat her drink all over the floor. OMG embarrassing much.

"Your funny one?" she said still trying to calm herself from laughing. " tbh I didn't think it was that funny."

Suddenly a guy with brown sandy hair and dark blue eyes walked over to us and sat next to Riley. He place his arm around Riley and kissed her cheek. must be going out, she's lucky, I wish Logan was here with me." Winter this is my boyfriend bailey and bailey this is my new best friend winter." new best friend? why would she want to be my friend? Smiling at her, bailey then whispered something into Riley's ear. rude much I'm right here you know.

"Winter, me and bailey are having a pool party this weekend if you would like to come?" " Yeah sure!"

It was nice to make a new friend once in a while." why don't we exchange numbers and I'll text you the details?" she offered. We swapped phones and I typed in my number. Saving the contact as 'winter <3',I gave Riley back her phone.

"Ooh looks who's stirring at you winter" Riley spoke with excitement in her voice. " who?" I asked wanting to know. " brogan" she said in a flirtatious tone. "Ugh" I huffed annoyed. "don't like him then? you should be lucky he's even taken a glance at you, he's the badass, the rebel of the school, everyone's scared of him but every girl wants him an every guy wants to be him but he's a big player."she spoke."I guessed he was a player, saw him earlier making out with the girl sat next to him, who's failing at getting his attention." I said telling her the events from earlier. " ah yeah that's blossom, his girlfriend believe it or not they've been going out for a month and she's the most popular girl in school." " oh I would've never guessed" I spike with sarcasm and with that the lunch bell rang letting us know it was time for next lesson.
