I stood and watched in horror as the beautiful girl known as winter, was violently getting beaten. I would of never thought her life was like that. All the pain and abuse. She looks so perfect but deep down she's broken in so many ways.

I was just about to leave the porch when I heard the slap, it sounded so painful. Wondering what was happening i opened the door wider to see what was going on.

I couldn't stand the sight I was watching right before my eyes. Her dad. Watching him shout and scream at her and beat her to the floor made my heart break in two.

I didn't know what to do. I couldn't just barge in there could I? What if I got beaten? "You've got to stop being so selfish" my conscience told me.

After debating with my mind I finally got the courage to go inside. But it was all finished.she wasn't there anymore and nor was he. I started to get worried, my heart pounding a thousand miles per hour.

I decided to go up and check on her. I quietly sneaked up the stairs frightened incase I got caught by the monster downstairs. Finally I reached the top of the stairs and made my way down the hall searching for her room.

Looking into each room I passed I finally got to her room. Well I'm guessing it is,it's all girly and there's pictures on the wall of her and her old friends. One in particular caught my eyes. One of her with a boy together, holding hands while walking down the beach. They looked so happy together.
Suddenly a ball of jealousy burst into me. Why am I feeling this way towards her? I've only just met her a few hours ago.

Pushing these stupid feelings aside I wondered where she could be. Hearing water running from the tap and load sobbing I guessed she was in the bathroom. Making my way over to the door I opened it slowly so it wouldn't creek.

Watching with disappointment In my eyes I watched the most beautiful girl before me collapse to the hard, cold floor.
