"Yoyle" is the root term used to refer to a substance highly concentrated in the region of "Yoyleland". Characterized visually by a bright purple hue, it is widely distributed in many forms of nature, being a constituent in certain plants, especially highly concentrated in the "Yoyleberry" fruit, and in certain ground minerals, especially the chemical element"Yoyle Metal".
Object Kind uses Yoyle as an important dietary substance, and a component in their physiology, aiding in the absorption of nutrients and strengthening of their item body. Excessive consumption of Yoyle (which is very easy, as the object body naturally contains barely a quarter of a teaspoon of Yoyle.) will result in the sudden transmutation of the object's body into organic, flexible Yoyle Metal.
Yoyleberry bushes are the most common plant cultivated by objects to get their source of Yoyle, eating the fruits fresh or baking them into Yoylecakes. Other than consuming Yoyle in food, objects have also been known to use Yoyle as an important ingredient in medicines and drugs. A somewhat uncommon, but very real practice includes the smoking of Yoyle, mostly in the form of cigarettes...

(A dumb silly to relief from the angst
I almost backtracked on the whole smoking detail cuz it seemed too corny, but then I realized the whole NATURE of this au involves ENOUGH weird shit, so I decided "Why tf not?" and went with it. Think of like, how super serious games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid can get super silly here and there to offset the bleakness of their settings jdsklajdskl, which is what I aim for in my own edgy works
I am TERRIBLY torn between 2 to 3 ideas for next time, a mini chapter? a major chapter? gotta find the motivation for either.....but we're gonna get into more deep emotions either way...
