Blood runs down her arm
No one knows they cause harm
Her parents laugh & smile
Her brothers play all the while
Will this be the night?
When she takes flight?
Is this the last song?
Will she sing along?
This is the last dance
Her very last chance
While you stride with no fears
She's drowning in her tears
This is the last dance
So take this chance
Say goodbye
And watch her fly
All the people she loved so dear
Had something to fear
Locked away in the back of their mind
Eyes shut, living blind
Tears fall, families weep
