Hopes and dreams
Of you and me
Promises and wishes
Drowned in the sea
You tore me apart
As fast as one, two, three
You took something
That was not meant to be taken
You broke it
Like it was meant to be broken
You snickered at it
The image of you that will never be forgotten
All my life I've never felt more astray
Please take the pain away
Loving you was my fault
Caring is my mistake
This may be my worst deed yet
Learn to forgive and forget
