"No matter how much I leave, I will always go back"

"To me?"

"To him..."

They say time heals all wounds

But what she left was scar

She has not even realized

Here I am, waiting patiently for her to come back

Why would I take someone who doesn't want to stay?

In the end, the petals from a rose fall

They fade as the rose wilts to grey

She is that petal  indeed

No one would stay with a person like me

Who has nothing but a heart that cares deeply

Time doesn't strengthen love

It destroys it as well as my sanity

The sirens of police cars and ambulance filled the street, everyone wondered why it happened so. The woman who did nothing but leave finally came home. She is welcomed by the corpse of the once that she called hers. No more footsteps to be heard.
