The door could be heard opened and Kai disappeared living a shocked Y/N. Suddenly Jaehyun entered while carrying Jaemin who was asleep. Jaehyun carefully placed his son on the bed and covers him with the blanket. Jaehyun smiles and kisses his son's forehead.

"Jaemin, do you forgive daddy? Daddy is sorry for not being there for you. I know I made excuses that mommy was overseas and will come back one day. But the truth is, she left us. She never wanted to be with us. I guess you don't understand now but maybe when you are older. But remember that daddy will always love you,"

Y/N didn't notice but a tear fell and saw the sight of Jaehyun. She wondered how could he still be calm although the girl left and having to take care of Jaemin all by himself. Jaehyun chuckles and went to the study desk and looks through the drawings. He saw that every drawing had two names: Jung Jaemin & Kang Y/N.

"Maybe one day you could introduce to me to Y/N, I would like to see her,"

He smiles and spotted the card and read it. When he read the last sentences his face changed and sighs. Y/N was very close to Jaehyun and placed her hand on Jaehyun's shoulder. He felt something weird and had a feeling as if someone else is here. He brushed it off and turned off the lights and continue on with his work.

Y/N sat at the edge of Jaemin's bed and smiles looking at the angel. Suddenly she had a flashback of the accident.

"Y/N, I'm sorry...I promise to be under your care in the next life,"

"Na Jaemin! Don't ever say that!"

It was too late, he had closed his eyes and was lifeless. The female guardian cries over the dead 16-year-old. If only she was there to protect him, if only she believed him.

"Y/N? You're back!"

Her attention went to the little 6-year-old boy who had awoken from his sleep. The little boy hugged her tightly and sobbing could be heard.

"What's wrong my little Jaemin?"

"I dreamt that I fell off a cliff and landed on a rock and you were there trying to help me,"

When she heard what came out from his mouth her world stop. How can it be? Is the real Na Jaemin inside little Jung Jaemin? But with what was happening Na Jaemin actually kept his promise and it was to be under the care of her again.

"Hey it's okay, I'm here and I promise to always protect you. Come one it's late you should sleep,"

Jaemin still didn't budge but Y/N laid him down and she was lying beside him.

"I'll be here so don't worry,"

Jaemin trusted her and closes his eyes and snuggle against her chest. After a few hours, he was asleep. Y/N continues to stroke his hair and kisses his forehead one last time before climbing out of the bed. She went for the office which was echoed with files being open and the voice of Jaehyun talking.

"Please Mr Kim, give me a few more days and I'll give you the proposal,"

"Yes, thank you so much,"

Y/N was witnessing everything and since he couldn't see her, she wanders around the office and looking at how much paper was on the floor and even Jaehyun's blazer was on the floor being crumpled. Jaehyun laid back on his chair while massaging his temples and open his drawer. He took out a picture and it was him and Jaemin. Y/N was behind Jaehyun and noticed a tear landed on the picture. She bends near Jaehyun and was now facing the side view of Jaehyun. She wanted to wipe the tear away but she couldn't touch him as her hand would just go through him. Jaehyun suddenly faced Y/N. Their face was really close and they had long eye contact.

"Yay! My wish is being granted!"
