Chapter 7

Eren looked up, eyes flashing and locked eyes with Schneider. "I'm going to blow you all to hell.."

Schneider's eyes widened, and he dove off the wooden platform.

Eren felt a huge blast of heat, and watched as everything around him blew away in an explosion, as half of his titan materialized. It's hand griped what was left of the wood under him, in between his fingers the man who cut his throat.

A loud collection of screaming ensued, as people ran from the falling debris.

Eren laid in the nape, consumed by the warmth the muscle and flesh provided i him. He slowly opened his eyes, and looked around.

"Where am I.." He asked himself.

He moved his arm, and heard a loud rumble, as he felt himself, or something apart of himself falling.

With a loud thump, he felt a big jerk, as his titans body fell against the ground.

He heard a loud hiss, and the attached muscle gave way, and he rolled out onto the jagged wood planks below.

He opened his eyes, and looked around. He took a deep breath, then pushed himself up. He began walking, stumbling over himself, trying to get away from the disaster behind him.

He felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck, and began squeezing, trying to drag him away. He tried to drive his elbow into their side, but he didn't have the energy to do any damage.

His vision got blurry, and he began to black out. His head dropped, and legs began dragging, as he tried gasping for air.

A loud slam filled his ears, and he felt the pressure being released from his neck.

He hit the ground, drawing in a deep, raspy breath, before exhaling, and drawing in another one, he lifted his head, to see what happened.

A short, black haired man was standing above him, wiping blood off of his knuckles with a white cloth.

"Piece of shit.." He muttered under his breath, throwing the cloth down onto the man

He looked down at Eren, with a bored expression, and reached down, pulling him up.

"Yeager.." He said, "You seem pretty alive for a dead man.."

Eren looked up at him, "Who..?"

"Yes, I was told that you seem to have.. memory issues so i'm not surprised you don't remember me."

"You still haven't-"

"Answered your question? Give us a few minutes, once we walk through town you'll hear. Now let's go, you smell like a damn rat"

They began walking, eventually making it to the town. Once they did, Eren heard multiple audible gasps, then whispers.

A kid, about the age of ten suddenly yelled out,

"Mama! Papa! It's Levi and Eren Yeag..er?"

"Hush child!" A woman said, "Mr. Yeager gave his life to save us from those horrible titans. You must be seeing things"

The child argues that it has to be Eren. Eren looks to Levi, and asks "Levi..? Your name is Levi?"

"It is"

"Where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere"

"Where is that?"

"Stop asking questions or I'll punch you too"

Eren exhales sharply, then looks forward again. "O-ok.."

They walked for a few more hours, before they made it back to the camp.

"I'm sorry Mr. Levi, but I need to go see someone."

"No, you're coming with me. And if you call me 'Mr. Levi' again, i'm going to kick your ass."

"B-"

"You're coming with me, no choice"

Eren grumbles, and reluctantly follows him.

Walking into Levi's office, Eren was told to sit down.

"So.." Levi said, sitting down' "You're not dead, eh? Was all that dying just a big old theatrical performance? Meant to get everyone to think you're some grand old hero?"

"N-no sir.."

"Then what was it all about?"

"I.. I don't remember"

"Of course you don't.."

"C-can I go now?"

"Fine, get the hell out of my office"

Eren stood up, and quickly left.

He ran to his cabin, and knocked on the door rapidly.

"Mikasa!" He yelled, continuing his knocking.

The door swung open.

"Eren..?"
