All my life I've been living a hell in school just for nothing? No, I must go to university after all my efforts!

"Mom! ... What's wrong? What's with your faces?" I asked

Dad is taping his nose again. Mom is looking down, what's with this atmosphere... I knew it, something was slightly strange.

"Sit down" said Dad

I've never heard him talk like that. His voice cracked and he could barely look at my face.

"What's happening?" I asked

"We have something to tell you. It's very important." said mom

" Before we start, we want you to know that it wasn't an easy desicion but we believe is for the best" dad continued

"Just get to the point, please"

I can't take all suspens. It's better if they just tell me straight forward.

"We are leaving to Korea tomorrow" they said

"Your dad was offered a good job out there and he is willing to accept it. Actually, he already did" said mom

I couldn't speak. My mind went blank... I just left. Surrounded by the dark corners of my room, I layed in my bed asking to myself what is happening?

*knocks*

"Jaymie, open the door" dad screamed

"Leave me alone, please"

I don't know what to do... This is ridiculous.

"Jaymie, we are talking about this now, open up. If you don't open now I'm going to break the door" dad shouted

"I won't!"

He is angry! Since when he was like this...

*breaks the door*

"Dad, what the fuck?!"

He actually broke the door! Is he crazy?

"I've been holding on for a year, you better hear me out now. We are leaving anyway so forget about the door" said dad as he gave me an angry look

"No! I'm not leaving! My life is here! My dream of becoming an orchestra musician is important! I've been accepted in one of the best Art school in California!" I refused

"I've been unemployeed for a year now, Jaymie! All the money we saved up for your education we had to use it to survive" dad explained

"What are you talking about? Didn't you had a job. Then, going to Korea it's damn free. Don't bullshiet me" I shouted

"Technically, it is. I'm going to service the Army as a medic" he said

"Dad, come on! There must be lots of opportunities here!" I said

"There aren't! I need money if I want to start my own office, which I don't have. It's complicated" he avoided

"Then what about me?" I asked

"You'll study at the best Art School in Korea." he said excited

"But with what damn money?" I asked furious

"Army" he repplied confident

" I don't care, I'm staying" I shouted

"Fine. Stay here, living like a hobo with no money" he applied

"Fine! Get out!"

Tears are falling down my cheek. I've never argued with Dad like this. My dream, so this was about it. My dream fading away from me and not being able to do anything. But how is my dream a shape of a man. It can't be. I knew it was too good to be true. Just how am I going to survive out there. If I was a loner here I can't imagine out there. I'll be literally invisible.

"Jaymie... It's for the best, please understand. I'm sure you'll do just fine" said dad outside my room with no door making him look ridiculous

"I'm going to be 18 I can stay if I want" I said firmly

"Jaymie..."
