I'm Back

"Please don't leave." Lucas cried looking into Cameron's eyes. "I have to I'm sorry." Cameron said grabbing Lucases hands. "Hurry up and say you're goodbyes, we got to go."Camerons dad said as he walked by boxes in hand. Camron just rolled his eyes. "Here have this." Camron said while taking the necklace he was wearing off, and handing it to Lucas. "thank you Cameron ill never take it off I promise." Lucas pulled Cameron into the tightest hug he could possibly give. 

"Will, you ever come back?" Lucas whispered into Cameron's neck not breaking the hug. 

"Probably when im a teen or an adult." Lucas pulled away after hearing that answer. "but were 10 that such a long time away." "I know." 

"Camron come on honey."  

"Go on don't get yourself in trouble." Lucas said tears feeling his eyes once again.

Camron just smiles and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you and don't forget about me." he said before running to the car.  

The only thing that made Lucas feel safe is gone now, he promised he would never take that necklace off and he meant it.

             Present-day

Lucas was walking down the school halls trying to get to his last class but people were all bunched up talking about one topic. The new kid. 

 "Did you see the new kid"          "The new kid is pretty hot."            

                                                            "Is the new kid single?"

          "What's the new kid's name."                         

                                          "I went to school with him in elementary."

Who is the new kid Lucas thought to himself while interning his last class. 

"Hey there." Some kid sat next to him  "Im Camron."  This must be the new kid Lucas thought.

"Im Lucas." he answered  

Then the rest of the class was silent. 

       Lucases place

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Lucas ran downstairs to open the door to find Camron standing there.

"Camron, what are you doing here and how do you know where I live?" he asked but he didn't get an answer  "Can I come in?" was all he got. I mean sure yeah come in, my room is- "Upstairs second door to the right I know." Camron said finishing Lcuases sentence 

What the fuck just happened.

My room is a bit messy sorry but I wasn't expecting you. Lucas said walking in after Camron.

"You're still wearing the necklace." Camron said with a smile try to help Lucas see it was him since he obviously didn't recognize him. "My necklace oh my best friend gave it too............ CAMRON."  Shouted Lucas as he jumped into his long lost friend's arms making them fall onto the bed.  "I missed you too." "Why didn't you tell me?" Lucas said in a pouty voice now sitting on Cameron's stomach. "I thought you would recognize me but you didn't." 

they just sat there hand in hand for a moment Lucas still on top of him.

"Can I have a real kiss now?"  Lucas spat out

"What?" Camron said between giggles.

"You kissed me on the cheek before you left."

"I know that." He said leaning in for a kiss.

The kiss wasn't long maybe 15 seconds but filled with love lust and passion. Lucas had his best friend and his crush back he felt safe again he was kissing him and everything was going to be ok.

"I missed you." they both said at the same time once they pulled away and they laughed.

Everything was back to normal, no its better.
