TRIGGERS: panic attack
Child abuse (kind of but just in case)
The storm just kept getting worse and worse, the thunder got louder, and lighting got closer to the window. Damion was terrified, not of the storm but the memories that came with it. All Damion could here has the screaming of his mother and father ringing through his head, the breaking glass, and the heavy threating footsteps heading towards his room, the filling of getting smacked so hard it drew blood. It sounded and felt too real, and it was overpowering him. His boyfriend Robbie knew he needed to get to his house quickly before anything bad happens, he knows what storms do to his precious boyfriend.
Robbie pulled in to Damion driveway, but didn't bother to knock he grabbed the spare key that was hidden under the doormat unlocked the door and ran upstairs to find his boyfriend scared and in a state of panic.
Damion looked up to see his boyfriend, and he couldn't be more relieved. Robbie ran over to Damion and pulled him into a tight but gentle hug. Damion buried his head deep into Robbie's chest feeling the heat that his body gave off, feeling the safety that his arms gave him. "Its ok im here everything ok now," Robbie whispered into his boyfriend's ear.
The cries in Damion's head came to a stop, now all he could here was the thunder and lightning and his boyfriend's steady heartbeat. His breathing and heart rate went back to its normal speed and he was finally calm knowing that his boyfriend was there to protect him.
Damion could feel his eyes getting heavy and started to drift to sleep. "I love you, baby." Was all he heard before falling to sleep
