Rapunzel hummed lightly as she checked the rice on the stove. A cloud of steam rose before she put the lid back on and turned off the stove. She moved on oven, taking a firm hold on the handle before pulling it down. The chicken was coming out great as well. She closed the oven door and let out a breath as the little one inside her kicked her own opinion against Rapunzel’s side.

Jack was quick to stand from where he was looking over his papers at the sound of her distress,

"You okay? Do you need to sit down? You should sit down." he said, his blue eyes filled with unwarranted worry. She giggled and moved his hand from her shoulder down to her rather large round belly. Jack jumped when he felt a small kick to his hand, a look of pure awe and amazement came to his face. It was hard to hide how much he genuinely loved his wife being pregnant. She glowed and always looked like the greek goddess of fertility with her choice of long silk dresses. She went barefoot normally so it didn’t bother her to do so when her feet began to hurt.

Jack leaned down and kissed her lips softly. He had his run with her mood swings and cravings. He learned from the first one what he had to do to avoid most of the tears and yelling that Rapunzel could switch on. He also learned that his wife was a lot more amorous and needy when pregnant and he never minded indulging her especially if he could do so before a fight started.

"Go call Elsa for dinner." she said against his lips before he could take the kiss up a notch. He almost pouted but instead opted to run his hands through his messy white locks and walked into the kitchen entrance to the living room.

"Elsa! Dinner!"

He turned back to his wife who was giving him a look, a hand on her hip and a spoon in the other.

"What?" he said, confused.

"I could’ve done that." she said with a roll of her eyes. He shrugged as a small girl, newly five years old, ran past her father and to the very pregnant woman turning the rice. She was already in her pink pajamas, her light blonde hair in a mess that hung a little below her small shoulders. She looked up at her mother and placed a small hand on her belly.

"Daddy, why is mommy’s tummy so big?" she asked, blue eyes wide and filled with curiosity and wonder. Jack chuckled as he took out three plates for them. Well, two plates for him and his wife and a small plastic plate for Elsa.

"Because your new sister is inside her." he answered.

"How?"

"Well, mommy is carrying your sister until she’s healthy and ready to meet us."

"Why?"

Jack paused. Hmm. He looked at Rapunzel who giggled to herself and motioned for him to keep going with a very mischievous smirk on her lips.

"You sister is growing and mommy has to make sure she is big and ready to come out and play." he answered and sent a smirk back to his wife who rolled her eyes but shrugged to show that it was a good answer.

Elsa’s brow furrowed as she followed her father to the table and took her place.

"But why is she in there?"

"In where?" Jack asked, filling her plastic cup with apple juice and placing it in front of her. Elsa kicked her legs back and forth,

"In mommy’s tummy."

"Well," he turned and narrowed his eyes at Rapunzels muffled giggled, knowing she was enjoying this, "you see, she was placed there, because its safe."

Elsa made an ‘oh’ sound watching her mommy as she placed large portions of food on large dinner platters. Jack sat next to Elsa, setting out the silverware for them.

"By who?"

Jack almost dropped the knife onto the floor, “What?”

Big blue eyes stared at him.

"Who put baby Anna in mommy’s tummy?"

Jack was stumped. He already fucked himself over by not using the stork story so now he was stuck with explaining to a five year old how her sister appeared in her mothers stomach…without saying ‘oh well that was me’.

Rapunzel placed the plates of food in the middle of the table and looked at Jack, raising an eyebrow. “Well? You can’t leave her waiting, honey.” she said with a smile.

Jack gave her a look. We’ll see if she gets sex next time, acting like that. Jack sighed as Rapunzel poured herself a glass of water. Jack eyed the wine not too far away. If only by some kind of…

"Magic." he answered quickly. Elsa’s eyes went wide, hardly paying attention to her mother placing small portions of food on her plate.

"Magic?" the little girl repeated.

"Yep," Jack smirked, "Magic. Like the tooth fairy or Santa Claus."

Elsa titled her head to the side, “Santa put Anna inside mommy? Like a present?”

Jack thought for a second before nodding with a grin, “Yes, just like a present.”

Rapunzel looked at her husband and shook her head as he flashed a cocky grin at her.

"But daddy, mommy doesn’t have a chimney. How did he get inside her?" Both parents dropped their silver ware, looking up at each other. Cheeks red at the choice of words that their five year old used. Jack starred at his daughter, mouth opening and closing with small sounds of failing words coming out.

"Magic." Rapunzel said with a smile, her face red, "Santa placed his hand on my tummy and used his christmas magic to give me Anna."

Jack felt his heart rate slow as he regained his composure. Wine sounded great.

"Oh, okay." Elsa said, taking a small bite of rice. She chewed happily as both parents sighed, dodging a bullet.

That was until they found out the next day that Elsa told the class that Santa had impregnated her mother. Jack was pretty sure that Rapunzel almost fainted.
