Chapter: 18

Damn it's been a while... sorry bout that

Nobody's Pov

Naruto had been training for a majority of the week. It was one day before Tsunade would either decline or accept their offer. Naruto had decided to go out into the streets and hopefully find some ramen. After about five minutes of aimlessly walking around he decided he needed to ask someone. Just when he was about to tap on someone's shoulder, he accidentally bumped into someone knocking him down. "Oops, sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." He heard a chuckle. "It's fine boy, here let me help you up."

The stranger reached his hand down and Naruto shook his head. "It's fine don't worry about it." Naruto stated jumping up himself. Naruto decided just to ask him. "You wouldn't know where I could get some ramen do you?" Naruto Asked rubbing the back of his head grinning. "Actually I do, I was just heading there actually." Naruto did a little cheer. "Well, what a coincidence! Dattebeyo!" Following the man was a bit hard since the street was so congested but, he managed.

Arriving at a place that smelled of liquor and food, he sat down and waited patiently for a server to come and take his order. "So kid, what's your name anyway?" The man that Naruto had followed Asked. "Oh, my names Uzumaki Naruto! What's yours?"  Naruto Asked as a menu was sat down in front of him. "My names Kabuto. Are you a tourist here?" The man now known as Kabuto Asked. "No, I'm here for official business for Konaha. My master is also training me." Naruto stated picking up the menu. He glanced at it then put it back down deciding to just ask for ramen.

"Oh? A Konaha shinobi. Well you don't look like much of a ninja kid. Especially with the bright orange that your wearing." Kabuto chuckled. "Hehehe yeah. It's my favorite color." Naruto told him. 'That's right I'm wearing orange. It was my favorite color when I could see but... it's a huge disadvantage especially for someone like me.' Naruto thought. "What will it be boys?" A waitress asked flipping out a notepad. "Do you have miso ramen?" Naruto Asked looking in her general direction. "Yeah, and what for you?" The waitress asked a little rudely. "On a separate bill I'll just have a dango stick." Kabuto stated.

The lady nodded and set off to another table. It is incredibly loud in the place they were in. "What official business are you up to?" Naruto thought for a moment. 'Is it okay to be telling people we are trying to convince one of the sannin yo become the Hokage? Probably not. Telling the wrong person could put Konaha at risk.' "Well, it's not necessarily something I should be spreading." Naruto stated hearing a clink as a bowl was set in front of him. "Finally! I haven't had ramen in weeks!" Naruto felt around the table for his chopsticks.

"Damn it where the hell are they?" He asked himself. Naruto heard a chuckle. "If your looking for your chopsticks they are sitting in top of your bowl." Kabuto stated. Naruto chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Right..." reaching out and luckily retrieving his chop sticks he started eating.

"Hey! Is that you gaki?" Naruto heard a familiar voice. "Granny! Have you figured out your decision yet?" Naruto Asked still eating. "I think so... I'm still hesitant about it though." Tsunade stated. She then noticed Kabuto. "Who's this?" She asked giving a wary glance at Kabuto. "Oh! This is Kabuto! He showed me this place to get ramen!" She chuckled. "Gaki, you came here at the beginnings the week. This is where you found me and shizune remember?" Naruto chuckled. How the hell was he supposed to know!? "Oh right." He chuckled.

"Any ways. I'll see you tomorrow about you and Jiriaya's proposition." She said leaving. 'She's definitely drunk. I could smell the alcohol rolling off of her in waves.' Setting down a bill hoping it's enough and stood up. "Well, nice meeting you Kabuto. I've got to get back to training." Kabuto nodded and sat his cash on the table. "Yeah my boss is probably gonna get agitated if I'm gone much longer. Maybe we will eat ramen and dango together one day down the road." Kabuto smiled. Naruto nodded. "Never know."

Walking out of the restaurant he didn't feel the pair of eyes boring into the back of his head. Kabuto was smiling creepily at Naruto. Anyone who looked his way felt chills run down there spine. "Yes... down the road." Kabuto turned and walked the opposite direction. "Orochimaru will be very happy about this information."

Well that was short... sorry I haven't updated... you know... school, anime, and ofc personal matters. I'm not gonna bore yall with the details. Thanks for reading!
