“Chelsea. No.”

“You let Sara go to everything!”

“You have school tomorrow and you have to be up early. No.”

“It won’t be that late! I’ll be back by ten I swear.”
“No you won’t. You know you won’t.”

“Oh my gosh. What’s wrong with you.”

“I don’t know, I care about you?” My mom turned back to the dishes she was washing.

“Whatever.” I mumbled, walking back to my room. Stomping kind of. I knew she cared, but I also knew I wanted to go and that I did this all the time and that it wasn’t a big deal. Nothing was going to happen and I wanted to have fun.

A few hours later I slid the front door shut silently and walked quietly through the dark down the street a ways to where Camille was sitting in her car. The light from her phone screen glinted off of her hoop earrings. I slapped the window and she jumped. I laughed and opened the door.

“Oh my gosh I hate you .” She cooed with her hand over her heart as her breath slowed. I smiled. “ You ready?” I asked. You could hear how eager I was in my voice.

“Someone’s excited.” She said as she started the car.

“ There are supposed to be a lot of people.” I trailed off, my mind wandering.

“ We all know what that means.” She smirked

“ Whatever. Dusty said he has a lot of friends he’s gonna bring too. Have you seen his friends?”

“Not enough” She joked.

“Exactly. I’m pretty sure every single one of them models for abercrombie.”

“They could! Now I’m excited too,” She said turning the car around a sharp corner. “We’re almost there.”

“ Do you have gum?” I forgot to put a bunch of things in my purse because of the fiasco with my mom. I didn’t even have my wallet.

“ Yeah I do. Ask me when we get there.”

“ I’m not gonna forget.” She smiled.

Camille pulled the car over to the side of the road and parked behind a black minivan that had just parked. A bunch of guys piled out laughing and joking. They were all complete abercrombie boys. Except for the ginger, he was alright.
“Gum.” I demanded while Camille gathered her things together.

“Oh my gosh.” She handed me a pack.

“Thank youu” I gave her a lovey look.

“You’re stupid.” We proceeded to shuffle out of the car and to the party. We happened to fall behind the group of boys from the minivan. One of them glanced back at us as he walked. He smiled at for a split second and then caught up with his friends, running his hand through his hair. He was wearing a grey tank and khakis. The music pumped out of the door as it opened. This place was huge. It was a mansion compared to most of the houses around here. Which happened to be miles away. I hadn’t even noticed how isolated the place was. The house and road were surrounded by a thick forest strewn with downtrodden barbed wire fences. We walked through the door and into a wall of heat and stench. It smelled faintly of fruit punch and strongly of sweaty, perfumed bodies. The air was thick with smoke and I’m pretty sure I could smell the alcohol. We eventually made our way through the thick atmosphere of bodies and smoke to the drinks. I picked up a glass but didn’t drink it. Camille downed something before she even spoke to anyone. She was sucked into a group I didn’t know and I went to find someone to talk to. I dumped the drink in a trash can and walked through the heat towards a familiar blonde head.
“Dustin!”
