Elle woke up in a unfamiliar room, it was bright, similar to her room at the lab. She tried to get up but there were wires attached to her.
"Don't move Elle! It's okay. You're in hospital." Mike reassured her whilst sitting next to her and holding her hand.
She smiled back; the events from before were almost forgotten until she turned her head and saw hopper staring at her, his back against the wall. His eyes were angry and his face sank into disappointment.
"I told you Elle!" He began, "Don't go in the woods! I TOLD YOU ELLE!"
"I'm sorry... ...it was wrong but Dustin... dustin was in trouble. Dustin! Demogorgan! No! We need help... we need to help!" She cried as she pieced together yesterday's memories.
"No we don't Elle! This is a mess, you should've called me. Will's unconscious, his poor mother crying over his bed! Dustin is missing! I can't believe you did the one thing I told you not to do - this is your fault!" He shouted.
Mike stood up and faced hopper.
"It was my fault. I persuaded her to go because we needed her. Dustin life was in danger. I'm sorry." He said.
"Get out."
Hopper was raged with anger, you could tell by the way the words rushed out of his mouth. Mike didn't argue with him, that wouldn't be wise, he just walked out and joined his sister and Johnathon in the corridor.

"Everything alright?" Mike asked.
Nancy's hands were shaking and Johnathon was clasping them in his.
"Oh mike!" Nancy cried, "everything is messed up! We've been talking to the police all morning trying to help them find Dustin but there's no luck. If only I paid more attention to you guys instead of thinking about mys..."
"It's not your fault nance." Johnathon smiled.

Mrs Byers came out of the room next to them, which caused Johnathon to stand whilst he asked how Will was.
"He's awake!"
Johnathon hugged her and they raced into his room.
