BETTY POV
I finished writing the letter to the Chicago modeling agency and I groaned. I was done with work for the day and I was allowed to go home. I put my coat on and grabbed my purse. I walked outside and saw my car was being towed away. I ran after the tow truck but I wasn't quick enough, my car was gone. I went back into the building and saw Jughead on his way out.
"Jughead, I need a favor." I whined.
"What is it?"
"I need a ride home. My car was just towed. I'll literally pay you to take me home-"
"Relax, I'll take you home. Just don't have another anxiety attack." Jughead smirked. I rolled my eyes and I followed him to his motorcycle. He handed me his helmet and got on his motorcycle. I got on the back and wrapped my arms around his back. I was already nervous. He kicked the motorcycle and the it started. It didn't take him long to already start riding the motorcycle. Things got worse when it started to rain. It was pouring and he was trying to keep his balance on the motorcycle, but it became hard.
"It's too much of a struggle. I'm gonna pull over at that gas station over there!" Jughead yelled. He zoomed the motorcycle over and we parked. We got off the bike and stood outside over the tiny ceiling.
"How long do you think we'll be here?" I asked.
"I'm calling you an Uber. I have to stay here with Vespa." Jughead said and was on his phone.
"Vespa? You named your motorcycle?" I crossed my arms. Jughead shrugged then put his phone away.
"Your Uber should be here in 25-minutes. So...what's your relationship like with your family?"
"I haven't talked to my family in years. The only one I've stayed close to is older brother, Charlie. He works for the FBI so he's always traveling and I don't see him as much. What about you and your family?"
"I have a 16-year old sister named Jellybean and we're really close. I have a decent relationship with my family. They were upset when they found out I didn't want to be a doctor or lawyer. But it's whatever. We all let people down eventually, it's just a matter of time." Jughead sighed.
"Has my boring life brought you down at all?" I asked. He weakly smiled and shook his head.
