Second Chappie done guys, Sorry bout the slow updates but this is also a school project so I update slowly.

Disclaimer: I own Kayla-Marie Allen, If for any reason you thought I owned anything else than you are wrong.

Kayla looked up at the woman she had once called her mother.

"Why am I not surprised?" She asked.

"I'm sorr-" Mrs. Allen started.

"No your not." She snapped back.

Kayla ran into her 'room' and grabbed her two changes of clothes, extra shoes, and her prized possesion, a small IPod shuffle 1st generation that she had bought at the flea market for 10 bucks.

She shoved her few possesions into her duffel bag and grabbed her wallet.

Mrs. Allen tried to stop her but Kayla ran out the door and out of the apartment complex with the duffel over her shoulder.

Kayla didn't realize it but she was crying, hard. She decided to ditch school that day and go find somewhere to stay. Her friend Liz would gladly let her in, but she didn't have the room. Lynn also didn't have room for her to stay.

'Maybe I could get a second job as a hotel maid or something.' she told herself but dismissed the thought.

She resolved to go see if her boss could let her work full time at the guitar shop. It was only a few blocks away so she was there in only about five minutes.

She walked in and went up to the clerk. "Can I speak to Alex?" She asked him.

The man nodded and pointed to the back office.

Kayla knocked and heard the distinct voice call for her to come in.

"Hey Alex."

"Oh hi KM." He chirped. "Don't you have school?"

"I have a doctor's appointment in about two hours so I decided to skip study hall." She lied.

"Okay. What brings you here?"

"I was wondering, could I start working here full time, I graduate in a week and I'm going to need a job after high school."

"Well, we were looking for a sales associate (A/N this job is boring as hell, I don't reccomend it) and I trust you." He said.

"Please."

"Your hired, start two days after you graduate, don't come to your old job as a cashier this week though, you can't work both." Alex said.

"Okay." She agreed nodding.

On her way out she bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry." She said.

The man had dropped his coffee and it had fallen all over the ground.

"Its fine." He said smiling. They made eye contact and Kayla's heart began racing.

'His eyes, they match mine.' She thought to herself but shook it off as a councidence.

The clerk rolled his eyes and went to clean it up.

"Sassy little prick." KM said under her breath.

The man laughed.

"Here, I'm gonna buy you another cup." Kayla insisted.

The man tried to reject her offer but she shushed him.

"Whats your name?" She asked when they had reached the starbucks.

"I'm Mikey." He said.

"Kayla." They shook hands.

"What are you doing, shouldn't you be in school." Mikey asked her.

"I ditched." Kayla shrugged. She was never going to see this man in the rest of her life so she didn't care if he knew.

They got their coffee and sat down by the window.

They were talking about music and random stuff when she walked by.

Mrs. Allen walked into the Starbucks upon seeing Kayla.

"You are in so much trouble when we get home. You scared me, packing up and running off like that. Your own mother." She yelled seething with anger.

Mikey looked uncomfortable.

"First of all I am eighteen and Not going home with you and you are not my mother, remember this morning, My birthday present. Because I'm pretty sure the birth certificate did not read Kayla-marie Allen. IT READ KAYLA-MARIE WAY!" Kayla stomped out of the Starbucks leaving a shocked Mikey and a pissed off Mrs. Allen.

Mikey ran after her. He followed her until she finally stopped running.

"Kayla. Are you okay?" Mikey asked ger putting a hand on her shoulder.

"You wouldn't understand." She growled.

"I had a daughter taken from me eighteen years ago. Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Mikey.. Mikey Way."

I don't know why but my teacher really liked this chapter. Hope you guys liked it too.
