~Next Day
Hotel~
***Lisha POV***
Something just don't feel right. I had a horrible night mare last night. I haven't had bad dreams since I was a child. Maybe God is trying to tell me something but I don't know what. I'm so off track I have no clue how I'm going to get back on.
"Are you okay ,you look puzzled baby." Brent came over and massaged my shoulders. This man has become the highlight of my life. At first I was using him to get close to the girls but I'm honestly starting to like him. He's a really good man.
"I had a nightmare. I don't remember anything I just know I woke up feeling a little off."I rubbed my forehead frustrated. Nothing seems to be going right anymore. I haven't seen either one of the girls. Seems as though Raniece and the girls aren't friends anymore. Why now?
"It's just a dream baby." Brent kissed my forehead. Maybe he's right. I'm 38 years old and I'm still worried about dreams. It's just the fact that I've been through so much! This isn't something I take lightly, I remember I had to take medicine to sleep. I thank god he took me out of that state. It was only possible through him.
"I know baby. You remember what I told you a couple days ago."I laid on his chest.
"Yes baby. But that doesn't necessarily mean that it's something wrong. People have nightmares all the time. You're fine." He kissed my lips. I smiled and cuddled him. Nothing he said was a lie. I just need to stop worrying.
"What are we doing today?" I looked up at him.
"Raniece's mom is having a bbq. I think it's about time you guys met?" He raised a eyebrow.
"Sure, should we start getting ready now?" I can't wait to meet her. I'm glad she's back and her mind is right. She is truly a walking testimony.
"Yeeeah, its about to start." He laughed
"Why the hell you ain't been said something!"I hopped Up. He knows I hate to be late.
"Sorry baby. We'll just hurry and get ready." He laughed then dashed into the bathroom. Grown ass man running like a kid. I started laughing so hard.
"Go grab some ice will ya." He yelled out. I grabbed the ice bucket and headed off toward the ice machine. I heard some girls in the hall way I had to turn into. Oh lord, I hate coming across young females. These young girls are disrespectful. I would hate to have to get out of character. I hit the corner and saw lala and another girl kissing. I dropped the bucket. What the hell?
"Lala!" I screamed. She turned around looking scared ass hell. I think I might've just sounded a little like my sister from her facial expression.
"What are you doing here!" She screamed angrily. Wait why is she angry at me?
"I'm about to call the police right now! Are you stalking me."she yelled out. What?
"Lala im your auntie! What are you talking about!" I cried. This is more than heart breaking.
"Why are you following me?" She took her phone out.
"No! What are you doing!" If she calls the police I will get locked up for no reason. That's what my mother wants. She must've got inside of her head. I shook my head in disappointment.
"I'm leaving." I walked away. There is no point of even trying to explain myself. My heart feels like it's in pieces right now. Only way she could've got inside of her head is using my weakness against me. I slammed the door and screamed. I haven't felt this angry in a long time. I just want to go back to my city and forget about everything.
"She told them! She told them about my personality disorder!"I screamed. Brent rushed out and held me. This has to be one of the worst days of my life.***Lala POV***
I hopped in the car shaking.
"You okay baby. We good. Honestly she didn't look like she wanted to hurt you." Trinity rubbed my thigh. She saw me kissing her, which made her scream, just like my moma. All these thoughts raced through my head. My phone started to vibrate.
"Yes granny ?"
"Are you okay. You sound crazy." She laughed.
"Yes I'm okay." I don't know why I played it off. All I know is my aunt was crying real tears. And now I feel bad more then anything.
"Have you seen Luna? I need her to come sign this lease."
"No I'm finna call her."
"I called already. She didn't answer but you can try." She hung up. I dialed Luna's number. Her phone rang but she didn't pick up. I called her again. No answer. That's not like Luna.
"Take me to my house." I snapped at trinity. She started the car and put it in reverse. She looks sexy ass hell while she maneuvering the car.I bit my lip. She smiled and winked, this girl is too much.
When we pulled up to the loft I noticed all the lights out. It's never this dark in the house. I hopped out and ran inside. The door unlocked that's weird ass hell. I looked around in very room. No sign of Luna. I pulled out my phone and called grace . Grace is the only person Luna been hanging with lately. Trinity came in and shut the door behind her.
"What's going on."
"I'm calling grace right now. Grace where is Luna?" I snapped out.
"I just dropped her off! Last night. She must've went to somewhere. My only guess is quan she always lie about linking up with him." She popped her gum. This lil bitch really irk me.
"Aight." I hung up .
"She said she might be with quan but I don't have that nigga number. I gotta call Raniece. If she with him then I know Luna not with his ass." I called up Raniece.
"Hello?"
"Yeah where you at."
"I'm at home waiting on my dad to come get me."
"Oh okay. I might come over." I lied just to make shit sound sweet. I can't trust Raniece like I used to. I know it's just a nigga but it's the principal.
"Im about to go to my moma condo. She having a bbq. So if you wanna see me that's where I'll be." Her voice crackled.
"Okay." I hung up.
"So now what?" She looked up at me.
"She with that nigga. She a fool for quan." I shook my head. I just hope she get her head in them books when it's school time. Granny walked in looking fabulous like always.
