~Next Day~
***Luna POV***
I knocked on lala's door one more time.
"Lala please talk to me." I begged her. I haven't been here at the house. When I came back this morning I seen Dee leaving out. She told me to hurry and check on lala. I been banging on her door for almost a hour like what the fuck is up.
Ding Dong Ding Dong.
I went to answer the door.Lisha stood there with a blank expression. Everything in me wants to punch this bitch face off!
"Where you been?" I played it off.
"Over at Raniece's House."
"We been calling you!" I snapped.
"I-I know, I been busy. Did you talk to Lonell? Tell me, what exactly did he tell yal?" I started hearing the side of her that he warned us about. Not sounding so propper anymore.I wonder why she feel comfortable being herself now!
"Why you lie to us?" I eyed her.
"I didn't lie to yal I told yal the truth!" She snapped.
"But you pretended to be someone you not and whole time you ghetto like us. That's crazy behavior how the hell do you expect us to believe anything else you say."
"Because it's more."
"More what! Lies!"
"Noo it's more to the story." She pleaded.
"Well why didn't you tell us this all at once!"
"You didn't believe nothing I said why would I add on to it? I'm still putting puzzle pieces together myself ! I got a call today that changed how I been looking at the whole situation."
"What was the call?"
"Lonell confessed to killing her." She started to cry. I'm more confused then ever now !
"What!" I stepped back shocked. Why the fuck would he confess to a crime he didn't even do?
"Yes Thomas called and told me he confessed when they was questioning him."
"Who is that?" I heard lala come out of her room. I'm glad she finally came out especially now! This shit is beyond crazy.
"Lala it's Lisha." I called her. She came to the door mugging her.
"You a lying ass bitch!" She tried to launch toward her but I grabbed her.
"You a liar you killed her!" Lala screamed.
"Killed Who?" She stood there looking confused. Something in me telling me to believe her but I don't know what to believe anymore.
"He confessed." I said under my breath.
"Wh-What?" Lala paused looking at me. I shook my head.
"Lonell confessed."
"But why!" She cried.
"What do you mean why it's because he did it!" Auntie Lisha protested .
"No he didn't you did!" Lala screamed.
"Oh so that's what his bitch ass told yal." She folded her arms.
"I still don't get why you pretended to be somebody you not." I stared at her cutting her with my eyes.
"I had to. I fell in love with Tom. He changed my life when I first got here. I saw the way he talked and carried his self so I changed for him. It's nothing major." She shrugged.
"It is because you have a personality disorder we not dumb." Lala stepped up.
"I didn't lie about what I told yal."
"You should've just kept it real from the jump now we questioning everything you said! You didn't even tell us y'all had a weird ass relationship!"I snapped.
"You know what. I don't need this. I came here to work shit out before I leave town but I see yal still looking at me crazy." She shook her head picking up her bag.
"I'm going to talk to him tomorrow and I swear to God , Lisha if I find out you killed my granny it's like that." Lala grunted her teeth.
"You're wasting your time, it's crazy how you going so hard for the same person that killed Liz."
"We don't believe shit you said !" Lala snapped. She gave us a fake smile then walked out.
"What changed? At first you was all open ears?" She turned to us on her way out.
"Our Granny is dead ! That's what changed !" Lala snapped out. She shook her in then got in her car.
"That fucking bitch uhhh!" Lala punched the wall frustrated.
"Chill!" I sat down trying to gather my thoughts. What the fuck and how the fuck! Sometimes I just hate my life so much. It's always too many obstacles.
"What we gone do!" I looked up at lala. She always has the answer! Every since we was lil bitty kids she been the leader of the pack making all the hard decisions. The room got quiet and I heard a ambulance truck ringing down the street. Every night I hear the sirens, it make me think about my moma. I was fourteen when my moma died. With all this shit going on I almost forgot tomorrow makes another year she been gone. Shit just unreal. When granny took us in we thought our life was fixed. But all she did was really put a bandit on our lives. A bandit made of money. She gave us money for fun which made us well known in the neighborhood. But being so young with money made us stand out a little too much and I was expected not to fuck up, not even once.Everything I did was reflected back on granny. I remember my first fight. Granny yelled at me for two days straight because she said her reputation was in jeopardy. I never understood until now. A impression is everything! And if Aunt Lisha can fake one. I can fake one too. I have to get these answers for my moma! I grabbed my keys and headed out. Lal kept her head down in silence as I walked out. I'm not surprised I'm just worried. She's been so depressed lately!Plus she won't talk to me so I don't know what to say to her! I got in the car and headed toward the restaurant granny youngest sister shar work at. She slipped up and talked to one of the caterers at the dinner. I peeped them looking at the schedules. She came off as a bitch but she's a little bit older than me, I know we can relate and I that's all it takes. I'm not expecting her to be all jolly with us when Lisha clearly was going around spreading rumors foreal. I pulled up in front of the restaurant.
"Damn girl you make my dick hard." Reckless got out his car. I groaned.
"Leave me alone reck not today."
"Awwhh you got a nickname for me?"
"No get on." I blushed. Reckless is so fine to me but I don't like how he called his self approaching lala on some bullshit.
"What's up though." He got so close I could smell his cologne.
"Bye." I went inside looking around.
"Who you here with?" He came up behind me.
"Who you here with!" I turned around irked. I don't see shar nowhere please don't tell me she off today! I got some questions!
"Neicey ." He smiled hard.
"You know I don't like her move." I pushed him when I seen shar serving drinks.
"Hey hey." I smiled hard at her.
"Um excuse me." She told the people she was serving .
"Why?" She pulled me into a corner.
"I just wanted to reintroduce myself the right way." I grinned.
"This fake." She laughed.
"How old are you exactly." She look a lot older than Lisha said up close.
"I'm twenty five." She nodded.
"How?" I laughed. How was my great granny old ass popping that pussy at damn near seventy years old!
"I'm adopted." She laughed.
"Ohh...I have so many questions do you have some free time?" I gave her my nice voice.
"I do. I'm off in about fifteen minutes, if you wanna wait I can grab you a drink." She smiled. I can't believe this is working! Why can't I just be myself with people though! I don't get why I have to pretend I'm somebody I'm not? I gave her a fake smile then nodded.
"I have to say you are way nicer alone." She laughed.
"Thank you i am really sorry about that." I sat down in the booth she led me to. She laughed walking off.
"Damn who that?" Reckless walked up.
"Go away boy." I rolled my eyes.
"Why? I see you staring at me at every party. Shit I realized I was going for the wrong sister." He laughed sitting down next to me.
"Staring? At you! Boy bye." I laughed.
"Girl I been peeped just say it you like bad boys." He smiled hard.
"No i like going to work and taking care of my son that's what I like." I pulled out my phone.
"Nah foreal let me text you or some."
"No! You know what you did to my sister bitchhh."
"I didn't do shit." He snapped.
"Who you yelling at ?" I snapped back.
"I'm just saying if you scared to deal with a real nigga just say that. I heard Quan fuck ass been doing you wrong I'm just here with the broom and mop to clean it up you understand what I'm saying." He sat up looking me in my eyes. This nigga can't be serious. I waved him off.
"I'm not gone stop until I get cho ass." He laughed then stood up. His dick print was showing through his black joggers.
"Seee!" He licked his lips.
"You want it Say it." He bent over and whispered in my ear. I felt myself getting wet. Before I could stop myself I was up following him out the door.
