~One week Later~
***Lala POV***
"I still can't believe you leaving in two days man." Tyler passed me the blunt.
"I know I'll be coming to visit all the time! I can't believe we got in this motherfucker." I looked around. We really just broke into my old apartment like some bad ass kids. I just couldn't resist coming in here anymore. Niecey said she not doing it because of spiders and shit so I asked Tyler gross ass and Quan tagged along. I didn't tell Luna about it because I know she would try to talk me out of it. She always said she never wanna come back to this apartment. It bring back bitter sweet memories and she say to emotional for this kind of shit. I started to cry.
"Let it out sis." Quan patted my back.
"Man I miss my moma so much! She used to cook her ass off." I stared at the open space where the stove was.

~Thanksgiving ~
"Baby check on the ham!" Liz called to sax. She bounced around the living room hanging pictures and putting decorations all over the place. Sax and Liz had just got their first apartment together some days before thanksgiving and it couldn't be better timing. Liz's mother had put her out because she couldn't help pay the rent so she went and told sax. He told his father who was the king of the city and he arranged for them to stay in the apartments he owned. Everything worked out for the best! Liz and her two baby girls had somewhere to stay now! She didn't have no worries at all.
"It's done I think!" Sax yelled back laughing. Liz cracked up walking into the kitchen.
"Moma it look so good." Lala licked her lips looking at the juicy ham.
"Thanks baby now step back." Liz laughed trying to find something to grab it with. Ding Dong.
"I'll get it." Sax went to get the door.
"Hello." When he swung the door open Bonnie stood there with a highlighter pink tight dress on and some honey wavy curls.
"Wasp." Day day walked up with Brent.
"Wasp y'all ready to eat?" Sax dabbed up his friends ignoring Bonnie's thirst stunt. He knew she was dressed like that to get his attention. She been trying to do little things like bending over in front of him and showing her body off with these outfits to get Sax's attention but he doesn't even look her way. She signed.
"It's good girl. He will come around eventually." Her cousin amayah laughed patting her on her back. She rolled her eyes and put her attention on sax.
"Hey honey!" Liz came up with a cheesecake platter .
"Hey." Bonnie jumped into character. She didn't want Liz to catch her faking it.
"Want cheesecake?" Liz smiled hard.
"Of course!" Amayah smiled.
"What about you?" Liz pressured Bonnie.
"I'm fine bestie." Bonnie laughed. Liz nodded and walked off.
"I fucking hate her!"Bonnie said under her breath.
"Whaaat? I thought y'all was best friends." Amayah looked at her confused. Amayah had just graduated high school and she wanted to hang with the older kids during the summer. She didn't know much about the people that went there but she did always see Bonnie with Liz so she had no idea.
"You are so dumb." Bonnie stood up and walked away with a attitude. Amayah sat there confused. She looked over at Liz. She admired her in every way. Liz was so sweet and nice to her she couldnt understand why her cousin would hate her.
"Okay everybody! The food is about to be ready wash your hands and get a plate of you eating!" Liz yelled out.
"Aaaaye!" Dayday laughed dabbing up Brent.
"That took so long." Sax cracked up.
"Shut up that's what thanksgiving food does, it takes long." Liz laughed.
"Sorry." He kissed her.
"Moma I want a plate!" Luna cried.
"Okay baby let moma make you a plate." She smiled.
"Where is Lala?"
"She went outside with Bonnie." Luna pointed to the door. Liz went outside. When she opened the door Lala was on the porch with a cigarette in her hand.
"Lala no!" Liz rushed at Lala and grabbed the cigarette out her hand.
"How did you get this! Where did you get it from!" Liz yelled.
"I-I don't know moma." Lala lied
"Where did you get it! Tell me right now!" Liz screamed.
"The ground...right there." Lala pointed at the ground.
"What's going on?" Bonnie walked up with her purse in one hand and a pan in the other.
"Did you bring her out here and not watch her?" Liz snapped.
"I brought her out here to help me with my things....I turned around and she wasn't at the car with me!" Bonnie snapped.
"Oh, I'm sorry she had a cigarette I don't know who dropped it but she picked it up and had it in her mouth." Liz stared at Lala like she wanted to strangle her.
"Oh it's cool. She didn't know any better, I mean you aren't the best mother sometimes . Don't talk it out on her calm down Liz." Bonnie laughed. Liz stood there with a attitude. She couldn't believe what her baby girl had just done.
"Lala look at me."
"Yes moma."
"Don't ever do that again! Come here." She pulled her baby in for a hug. The thought of her daughter touching a cigarette scared her to death. Her mother smoked cigarettes so she couldn't help but relive everything her moma did to her when she smelled one.
