~New Years Day~
***LaLa POV***
Sharee practiced her dance routine for the dinner party Lisha throwing tonight.
"I love it!" It's my first time seeing it and I think it's amazing! Sharee is so talented!
"Thanks I worked really hard." She sat down out of breath.
"Girl they gone love every piece of it!" I smiled at her.
"Can I go meet JR." She smiled. I forgot her and kentrell son Bestfriends. I nodded and waved her off. They moved in the neighborhood last month and she been meeting him at the park up the street for play time.
"Be back before the street lights come on." I called out. I heard the door shut. No okay? Or yes ma'am or nothing! She getting too grown! Her birthday next month and she's turning 12.Shits not black and white for her anymore! Especially since she started hanging out with kentrell grown ass son! She say off the wall as shit now a days! But I guess that's just apart of growing up.
"Hey bitchface." Luna came in yawning.
"Hey you ready for tonight." I picked through momma old pictures.
"Fuck no I ain't ready for this fake ass dinner."
"They other sister YaYa supposed to be coming. She younger then them so I hope she easier to relate to ya know." I tossed our Christmas picture at Luna.
"Remember that." I grinned. She stared at the picture . I noticed her eyes starting to water.
"I miss moma so much." She put the picture down.
"You remember she used to dress us alike every holiday. Then she had Sharee and just stopped." I laughed.
"It's cause she couldn't find a matching fit for Sharee." Luna cracked up. I sat back reminiscing.

~Christmas Eve~
~Liz's Apartment 2004~
***Omniscient***
"Sax! No don't let them open nothing!" Liz held Sharee close as she rocked her back and fourth. The girls started fussing and crying.
"Hey! Hey you are 5 years old and you are 4! Stop that right now! Yal are too old to be acting like babies." Liz yelled.
"Moma pleeease!" Lala cried out.
"Stop lala you are supposed to be a role model for your sister." Sax rubbed lala's back.
"Momaa mommy!" Luna ran up to her mother crying. She looked at Luna's eyes and nose running.
"Okay just one!" She shook her head. Sax laughed.
"I knew you couldn't do it." He kissed her cheek. She grinned as they sat and watched the girls tear up the present they chose to open. Lala's mouth dropped when she unraveled a doll house the same size as her. She went for the biggest present on her side. Luna on the other hand went for the smallest present which was a little hand purse with her initial on it.
"Thanks mommy!" They bounced up and down exited.
"Okay okay watch out for your little sister!" She laughed holding Sharee tight. Ding Dong .The doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." Sax got up to answer the door.
"No! Stop!" Sax yelled.
"Who is it!" Liz yelled holding her baby tight, her girls stood behind her.
"It's me!" Her mother stood in the doorway .
"Why are you here?"
"I came to drop off my grandkids shit for Christmas." She shrugged.
"Get out!" Liz grunted her teeth.
"Baby come look!" Sax yelled out . Liz went to the front door. Her ex from high school stood in front of a truck filled of Presents.
"What the hell is this red! I haven't seen you in Hellas and this how you pop up? With my fucking mom!" Liz handed Sax Sharee and marched up to red.
"Calm down baby I ain't owe you shit." Red laughed. She slapped his face.
"You a fucking lie!"
"You chose homeboy over me that shit old why we having this conversation for?" Red waved her off. Sax walked up with Sharee in his hands.
"What the hell is going on!" Sax looked at red crazy.
"I'm just dropping off these toys for my og." He shrugged.
"Leave the boy alone." Shalanda walked up.
"Why do you always gotta pull these lil fucked up stunts!" Liz turned to her mother.
"What stunt! He's the only one that had a truck in the neighborhood! You just fucked everybody I. The damn neighborhood so of you feel like I'm trying be funny!" She laughed. Liz grabbed her mother's neck.
"No you do shit like this purposely!"
"Stop stop before the girls come out!" Sax grabbed Liz with his free hand. Liz calmed herself down.
"Bitch if you ever put your hands on me again I'll kill yo ass!" Shalanda fixed herself then hopped in the van. Red laughed and followed her lead.
"What about the toys!" Sax yelled out.
"Fuck You!" She spit and drove off.
"Liz you have to learn how to control yourself look!" He pointed to Lala and Luna standing on the porch with their mouths dropped. Liz started to cry. Sax rubbed her back.
"I'm sorry I just couldn't take her shit no more." She looked up at the sky frustrated.
"I just wanna find my sister and go wherever she is!" Liz held her baby girls tight. Sax stared at them as they moped into the house. He knew she was tired of her mother's shit! He felt like less of a man now a days because he couldn't stop her mother from bullying her. When he walked in liz was on the floor playing with the girls. He smiled, this is what gave her happiness. Being with her family is what made her genuinely happy! And that was always enough for him!
