chapter 1 (Aarohi's POV) (part1)

I forced myself to get up the bed. I checked the time on my phone. It was 7:30 am. I went to my bathroom, undressed and went to take a shower.
I live in Mumbai at my cousin's house. I got my job at B.K.P enterprises. I worked as a software developer there. My family lives in Delhi. As I got my job in Mumbai so I had to move in here.
I got out of my bathroom and searched my wardrobe for my black jeans and a blue top with "GIRLS ON TOP" printed on it. I quickly grabbed the blow dryer and started drying my hair. I dabbed some light pink tinted lip balm and hanged the ID prove around my neck.
"good morning beta!" my aunt said while she was pouring tea in the teacups on the table.
"good morning aunty" I replied. I sat at the dining table and waited for her to serve me breakfast. I switched on my phone and checked my emails. There was an email from my boss.

From: Madhav Agarwal
To: Aarohi Khurrana
Subject: urgent

Hi Aarohi,
Please rush to the office right now. The matter is very important. Come to my room after you reach here.

What? But why?
I rushed to the fridge to take my tiffin which my aunt made. I asked my cousin Vivek to drop me to my office.
I asked "may I come in Sir? ", "yes come in" my boss replied.
"come sit. I have a very important matter to discuss" the boss said. "yes what is it? " I asked with some curiosity in my mind.
" do you remember that you applied for an internship in New York? " the boss said.
What I am selected for it. Holy crap. Yes New York, here I come.
"so am I selected ?" I confirmed. "No you are not," he said. What are you kidding me?
