"hey jinnie, sorry i called, i hope you're not too busy today!"

"oh hey joonie! no, no, i'd always make time for you, you know that!"

namjoon blushes from the other line, rubbing his nape in embarassment. "you're cheesy, boo,"

"hehe, you know you love me hun, but anyway, what's up?"

"so, jeongguk and i had a talk and apparently the baby is lonely and he wanted a companion," namjoon could practically hear jin cooing from the other line at the mention of their sweetest baby.

"aw really? tell him i could come around everyday before clocking in, give him a dose of daily cuddles- and- and banana milk! you know the baby loves his 'nana mil- "

" -OKAY! yeah of course i know," joon knows that if he lets the other go on, he'd be rambling about all the cute qualities their youngest has. . . knowing jin had the knowledge that he, specifically, was so proud to be jeongguk's favorite hyung, loved spoiling him and boasting about how he knew the boy the most. . .and so jin giggles at the way namjoon huffs.

"sorry, i kinda forgot how you're a tad bit possessive of our baby bunny, joonie,"

"of course, i want him to be happy," namjoon looks over at where jeongguk sits on the couch, fiddling with his sweater paws that cover his fingers. adorable. "he deserves it, jin."

seokjin notices how the other's voice softens, like the boy himself meant the entire universe to him. seokjin knew he was scared to lose him, afraid of giving the boy to someone he would soon love when the time was right, although he loved the boy so much that he would be willing to let the younger walk on his own two feet without his hyungs holding unto his hand anymore, to hold unto somebody else. jin almost cries at how sentimental the moment had gotten. (don't tell namjoon though, jin would still baby kookie no matter what.)

namjoon loved jeongguk like his own little baby brother, and it showed.

"jeongguk wants to love, but he's afraid, and i am too knowing he isn't willing to commit to anyone yet so i figured, why not bring my baby to my lovely boyfriend's pet shop?"

"omg, no way! joonie, you're getting him a pet? i can't wait! what are you planning on getting him?"

"jeongguk wanted a puppy or a dog in general, he didn't mention what breed he preferred but we'll be able to figure that out. it was delightful watching his eyes light up when i asked him about it,"

"he's still our cute babyboy hm? well, that's perfect since a new batch of puppies were delivered to us yesterday, so i'm sure he'd find the perfect one!"

namjoon smiles.

"i'm sure he will, too."
