(So, I forgot to post last week, so I'm uploading two of these today! So here's the second chapter! Also. This chapter is a bit short. BUT! It starts to pick up soon. I've consulted in a friend about things, and she's given me a few good ideas for the future chapters!)

(Also, TW: Some abuse is in this chapter)The school day had been decent, like always. The only difference was that people had been watching you, little whispers here and there about the night before. You held your tongue every time you heard someone mention you doing things with Connor.
When you got into the car with Billy, that's when all the other girls noticed you, and that's when you knew people would really start talking. He drove you to your house, you tapped along to one of Billy's favorites songs "You don't have to do all this for me." You commented as he drove, your eyes wandering around.
Billy smiled his normal smile at you, shrugging "You and I, Rogers, we're in this together." He hummed, pulling up to your house and parking "Here's my number." He said as he slid a paper into your hand "Call me if you.. Can't sleep, if something happens and you need out. I'll try my hardest to come get you." He ran a hand through his hair before winking at you "Now get outta my car, Rogers."
You rolled your eyes as you slide your finger over the phone number before you climbed out of the car, seeing the car Timothy, your father, drives missing He's at work.. If I clean up and get stuff done, maybe he'll ignore me. You thought, hearing the Camaro drive away behind you.
Opening the door to your house and taking your shoes off. You glanced around, seeing the couple beer bottles around along with the random papers (Probably had to do with the newspaper). You sighed, putting the backpack in your bedroom before you grabbed the small trash can and started to pick everything up. There was an uneasy feeling in your stomach as you continued to pick random things up.
When you finished cleaning up the area, you looked to the clock and seen that it was 4pm already. You ran a hand over your face, looking around before you decided to finally get a shower in. Pushing the door open and starting the shower instantly, turning the knob to a warm setting. You shut and locked the bathroom door before you stripped down. Looking towards the mirror, you frowned at your reflection, seeing the bruises from your dad and from the night before. All the people say I slept with both Billy and Connor.. But who would sleep with this.. You thought to yourself, biting your lip before you shook your head, climbing into the shower.
You ran some soap through your hair, humming a tune, probably the one from the car, quietly to yourself before you heard the front door slam. You instantly froze, biting your lip as you washed your hair quickly and turned the water off “(Y/F/N)!?” Timothy shouted, banging on the door loudly. You looked over towards the door “I-I’m just getting out of the shower! I’ll be just a moment.” You called to him, wrapping yourself in a towel and brushing your hair before you opened the door “Sorry.” You said softly, glancing to him “I was just taking a quick one.”
Timothy shook his head, noticing the bruise on your face “Got into a fight again?” He asked, getting closer to you and grabbing your chin roughly “We talked about this, didn’t we?” You nodded, frowning at him “We did, sir.” You looked into his green eyes, your body tense “And I.. I didn’t get into a fight. I just fell while I was out last night.”
Timothy scuffed at your lie, shaking his head before he shoved you away “I have work to do anyways. You better stay out of my way.” He said as walked towards his office and slammed the door behind him. You stood in the hall alone for a few minutes before you went into your room, shutting the door and getting changed into another sweater and pajama shorts.
A few hours went by as you finish your homework for the night, seeing it was around 830pm. You sighed, rubbing your face as you opened your door and walked slowly towards the kitchen. You pulled out a cup and filled it with some ice and water, looking outside the window as you sip your drink. On the counter laid a half empty bottle of whiskey, which meant that Timothy had been drinking.
You finished your water and refilled it up, walking past his office and peeking in on him. You saw him slumped over the desk asleep with the empty cup in his hand. Sighing, you walked in and pulled the cup from his hand and placed a random blanket over his shoulders, hoping he’d not bother you in the night with his drunken anger. You looked over the desk for a moment, staring at the random stuff he had laid across it. There was a photo of your mother, then a photo of your mother and your father, but you had noticed once more that there wasn’t any photos of you on the desk.
You placed the cup into the sink before you continued your nightly routine. Once you are finished, you go to your room and place your water on the bedside table before you climbed into bed. Once under you smiled to yourself, remembering back to how Billy protected you in the morning at the diner, and how he drove you home as well. Today was actually good.. I just wish last night didn’t.. Start as bad as it did..
The next morning
You woke up to a loud bang, jumping quickly and looking around your room. You bit your lip as you waited for a moment, your hands shaking as you make your way to the bedroom door. You opened it slowly and looked around before you heard another crash “Where the fuck is it!?” Timothy’s voice boomed through the hall “(Y/F/N)!” He stormed down the hall, looking at you when he made it to your door “Where did you put it?” He snarled, slamming your door open and pushing your back against the wall “The paperwork, the one on the table? Where. Did. You. PUT. IT?”
You shivered, looking up at him as you pointed towards the hallway “In.. In your office. It’s on the bookshelf. A folder!” You said quickly, trying to push him back “I didn’t look at anything. So please.. Please.” Timothy smacked you across the face quickly, glaring down at you “You know not to touch my paperwork.”
You watched him leave before you slid down to the floor, your breathing uneven as you closed your eyes Just get dressed and go to school.. It’s a normal day. You told yourself as you controlled yourself. Once you were finally up and standing, you grabbed your clothes for the school day, which consisted of a blue and white sweater with a black skirt and some flats. You made your way to the bathroom, finishing your morning routine and grabbing an apple.
You made your way out of the house, making sure that Timothy was already gone before you started to walk towards the school. You got lucky though, due to the fact that your house was only a 15 minute walk from the school, so walking there in the morning wasn’t too bad for you. While walking, you heard the familiar sound of a Camaro driving up behind you.
You turned around quickly, your eyes widening as you stepped to the side. Billy pulled up beside you, a smirk on his lips as he leaned over a little into the passenger seat “Need a ride, Darling?” He asked, winking at you. You rolled your eyes, holding back your smile as you walked up to the car and climbed in “You’ve got a younger sister.. So where is she?” You tilted your head at him, buckling yourself up.
Billy smirked as he started driving again, tapping along to the music as he glanced to you “I dropped her off earlier.” You smiled, nodding as you ran a hand through your hair, putting it up into a ponytail, leaving some down to cover part of your cheek where you were smacked. “Thats cute.” You teased him, looking towards the school when you guys pulled up “Thanks, for the ride. You didn’t have to do it.” Billy turned his car off and leaned towards you, getting a few centimeters from your face “Stop saying Thank You, Darling.”
Your cheeks turned a little pink, letting the smell of his minty breath with a hint of tobacco hit your nose “I can’t help it.” You whispered, biting your lip as you looked up into his eyes “I can… Say I appreciate this.” Billy rolled his eyes, smiling a little at you before he glanced around the school parking lot. He let out a breath, looking to you once more.
“I just have a quick question for you.” Billy said softly, still close to your face. “Hmm?” You hummed “You know that uh.. Dance thing coming up?” He asked “Would you want to maybe.. Go with me?”
