(Word count: 2516)When you knew Timothy was passed out, you snuck into the living room, making sure not to step on any place that would squeak. You got to the phone and pulled the number from your pocket, glancing to the time on the wall 10:27. You bit the inside of your cheek before dialing the number, hearing it ring a few times. Billy picked up the phone, his voice hushed "Hello?" He said into the phone "Who's calling so late?"
You pressed your head to the wall, a sigh escaping your lips "Billy.." You whispered "I.. Meet me at the local park.. Please." You begged him, glancing towards Timothy's room as you held the phone tightly "I.. I can't stay here tonight."
Billy listened to the sadness in your voice, running a hand over his face before he nodded "I'll see you there, Darling." He said softly "Get a bag of some clothes. You're staying with me." He commanded, placing the phone up and quickly getting ready to go out.
You smiled a little to yourself, happy to know Billy would help
you. You placed the phone up and slowly made your way back to your bedroom. You closed the door behind you and slid your dresser in front of it. You packed a bag of some clothes for about two days, and then shoved your school books into the same bag.Once you were sure you had everything you needed, including your emergency toothbrush, you climbed out the window quietly and shut it behind yourself. You took in a deep breath, enjoying how the fall air hit your skin before you started on your walk towards the park.
You knew of a shortcut through the woods, so you decided to take that instead. You pulled your flashlight out and started through the woods. As you walked, you kept an ear out for any type of bear or any other creature that could jump out in the night.
You hummed a quiet tune as you walked, tugging the sweater closer to your body. You stopped for a moment when you heard some leaves nearby rustling. You stared in it's direction before slowly making your way to the park once more. After a few minutes you heard the noise again. You froze before you glared, starting to walk over to the noise "Don't be a bear.. don't be something big.." You whispered to yourself as you slowly walked. You stopped when you saw an odd lizard looking creature.
You raised a brow as you looked at it, crouching down and moving a stick to touch it. The creature made a little squeaking noise as it was touched. You smiled a little, watching it before you left a little bit of a cookie next to it "I don't even know what you are.. But you're adorable." You giggled, looking at it for a few more moments before you stood up and started to walk to the park once more.
Once you arrived, you glanced around before you saw the Blue Camaro. You smiled a little as you scanned the playground, seeing the blonde sitting on the swings. You started walking quietly towards him, placing your bag down and sneaking up behind him.
You slowly got behind him, placing your hands on his shoulders "BOO!" You shouted, watching Billy jump and turn to you fast "What the fuck?" He shouted, his breathing a little uneven. You giggled, covering your mouth "You.. You got scared!" You gasped out through your laughter.
Billy scowled at you, crossing his arms and watching you laugh. He smiled a little after a moment, letting out a small chuckle "Wanna tell me why you don't wanna be home, Darling?" He asked, raising a brow at you. You calmed down, a hand going to the back of your neck "It wasn't too bad.. He just saw you drop me off." You shrugged, looking to Billy "He has a rule no boys."
"A no boys rule?" He said slowly, not completely understanding. You nodded "I'm not supposed to be around boys. He thinks they'll take my mind off of going to college one day." You shrugged "But what he doesn't know won't hurt him." You said as you looked at Billy. Billy sat on the swing and motioned for you to do the same "I can always drop you off a few houses down? So he won't see?"
