"So my Aunt came to town today and guess what"

"What?" he asked sarcastically

"All out parents and my aunt were like besties in Primary school so it's basically fate that were friends" oh shit did I just friend zone us I hope not please no.

"Oh friend zoning me are you?" oh good he's making light of the situation

"Yes now take me shopping peasant" he sighs reluctantly but stands up and walks with me out of Starbucks and into Cotton On.

"Omg don't you just love these shorts Bew?"

"Oh yes and I just know this top would match perfectly with is Charles" we joke around completely mismatching an outfit.

"Well are you going to try it on?" he says stuffing the stuffed up outfit in my face.

"Of course"

We walk over to the change room and I make Beau wait out side the room while I get changed so I can make a dramatic exit and he'll be there, but as soon as I close the curtains I hear three familiar voices, Poppy, Brittany an Jason I get ready to jump out and scare them but then I realise all the rude things there saying to Beau.

"Oh look he's here alone typical." Jason teases.

"Actua-" Beau gets cut off

"We don't care loser just stay away from out friend you don't deserve her" Poppy snarls.

"Yeah she can't date a nerd what if someone found out?"

That's it I'm interrupting there little conversation.

"Actually Beau an amazing guy way better than any of you and if anyone 'deserves' me it's him not you bitches!" I say fired up, grabbing Beaus arm we walk swiftly out of Cotton On and out to the front of the Mall.

"Look in sor-" I get cut off by his lips on mine, it takes me a moments realisation to actually acquaint myself ti what's going on but as soon as I do I'm kissing back, butterflies dance in my stomach and now I know my crush is definite. He pulls away what seems like to soon and smiles at me.

"I'm sorry I needed to" he shrugs

"Don't be sorry I'm the one that should be apologising"

"What about?"

"I friendzoned you the I made you miss out on you Starbucks then my stupid friends were complete dicks towards you I mean you shouldn't me kissing me you should be ditching to hang out with someone that doesn't make you miss out on you Starbucks." I explain adding a little giggle to the end.

"I actually don't give to shits about the Starbucks to be honest."

My phone rings ruining the moment I check the called ID and its Mum, shit I completely lost track of time.

"I'm sorry give me a sec" I excuse myself.

"Hey mum"

"Where are you, you promised" she whines through the phone.

"I'm sorry I lost track of time, me and Beau are still hanging out and I don't want to leave him."

"Fine bring him along" she sighs I jump with joy and hang up skipping over to Beau who's looking through the array of cakes in the window of the bakery.

"Come on you walls were going to Lunch at Two Birds One Stone."

"Really I've never been there it's so expensive!"

"Well I'm rich deal with it" I say walking to the cafe.

"So beau hoes Gina going?" Sue asks

"Umm well she's a doctor (lol I have no idea what she does don't hate plz) and she works night time and stuff but she's gets enough money to look after us boys"

"Beau has two brothers there twins, Luke and Jai" I explain.

"So why'd you move to Penola?" Mum asks.

"I wasn't really accepted at my old school" he shrugs.

"Really a dashing boy like you they must have been complete idiots." Sue embarrasses him punching his arm. He blushes and I giggle.

"So what about hockey how's that going?" Sue changes the subject.

"Oh well you wouldn't have guessed it but we got into the grand final and we're playing this weekend at 11 you should all come and watch." I say ecstatic because I've never even made it to the top ten because I've always been in the crap teams.

"Are your friends Jas and May in the the team?" she asks again

"It's Jade and Maisie and yeh. FUN FACT WEVE BEEN IN EACH OTHERS TEAM SINCE GRADE 6" I yell making a couple look at us annoyed but we shrug it off.

"Calm down honey," mum replies obviously a little embarrassed.

"Have you ever played Hockey Beau?" Mum speaks again

"No I've only really played football."

"I don't understand that sport." Sue says "to many different types of getting points" she continues.

"Yeh I played once or twice but I wasn't that good." I chip in

"I've always been a basketball/netball person honestly" mum replies.

~An hour later~
"Well Beau it was great having you for lunch" My mum complements him.

"Thank you for having me" he replies.

Beau walks to his car and I'm left with two 40+ year olds smiling like idiots.

"You've chosen well this time darling!" my mum exclaims

"He such a nice boy!" Sue agrees

"We not dating guys" I sigh

"Have you kissed?" sue chuckles

"Ye-" Sue cuts me off by skipping away singing "Charlie and Beau sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes you know, then come marriage, then come Charlie with a baby carriage!!" I blush and run in front of her to mums car
