An Unexpected Fate // b.b

The Brooks Residence

Well hockey training was cancelled because our teacher went home sick. How do I get home? Everyone else has commitments.

"Charlie!" A male voice I hadn't quite gotten used to yet called

"Yeh" I say while turing my body to find my new found dare I say it crush.

"Have you got anything on tonight?" Beau asks

"Nah hockey was cancelled" I sigh "I don't know how I'm gonna get home" I continue

"Wanna come to mine?" He asks.

How sweet I don't see why not?

"Sure." He smiled and then turned around. Guessing that I'm meant to follow him I do so. He stops walking when we arrive at a half decent Volks Wagon Golf.

"Is this yours?" He bursts out laughing.

"Nah it's my mums hence why she's in there." As he says this he points to the window and I see a black haired lady that I now know is his mum.

"Oh whoops" I giggle.

He opens the door and gestures for me to get in so I do as he wants and crawl in sitting on the window side.

"Are we waiting for Luke and Jai?" He asks.

"Yes honey" she seems so caring I just wish my parents were like this.

"Who's your friend babe?" She's hip aswell.

"Oh sorry this is Charlie. She's in my home room" she smiled and sends me a wave. When suddenly the front door opens and in jumps Luke and Jai jumps in next to Beau looking a bit upset.

"What are you doing Charlie this is our car" Luke says sassily

"Luke!" His mum scolds him.

"I was joking" he reassures her "but like seriously why you here?"

"Hockey training was cancelled so Beau offered for me to come with yous" I shrug.

"What's up with Jai?" Beau changes the subject.

"He was meant to be in the front but I beat him to the car" Luke says finishing by poking his tongue out at Jai.

"Do you have any siblings Charlie?" Gina asks while turning into a small quite street that I've already taken a liking to.

"Yeh two Jase my younger brother, he's 15 and Emily my older sister she's 25 and lives in France" Gina nods and then once agin turns but this time up a driveway that leads to a small but obviously homely house.
