A/N: I would like to clear a few things up. You might be confused by the 2-A line but I ensure you it is intentional. The story takes place one year after the actual show so it is in fact class 2-A. I'm sorry if that was unclear before.

The tension was so thick in class 2-A Ash could have cut it with a butter knife. The class was dead silent as they waited for Aizawa. The only sound was the ticking of the clock, which Todaroki eventually silenced by freezing it. At some point Sero had gotten up, gone to the back of the class, and began to pace. Mina had started tapping her fingers, but stopped when Todaroki threatened that she would soon join the fate of the clock if she didn't stop. Ash's mental clock counted ten agonizing minutes before Aizawa entered the room. Sero instantly stopped pacing but stayed at the back of the class.

Aizawa wasted no time before saying," One of the students in this class passed away last night." All eyes went to the two empty seats in the room. Uraraka and Mineta. Ash's voice was thick with sarcasm, "Well don't sugar coat it for them, Teach." There was a choking sound from somewhere in the room. Ash looked over her feet ,which she had propped up on her desk, to Aizawa. He went to glare at her but stopped short when his eyes took in her face. She knew the black flecks in her gold eyes had spread, nearly turning them entirely black. She could tell she had bothered him. Kicking her feet off her desk, Ash sat up straight. "I mean we could just let them all believe that he died in his sleep... that would work, no?" Ash's grin was fairel and unsettling, but it got her point across.

A small voice piped up from the empty place the invisible Hagakure had claimed during the year, "What does she mean?" Aizawa cleared his throat, "Yes. Mineta was found this morning on the roof of the dorms leading to the girls bathhouse. We will be investigating this case with the best personnel. We ask that you keep this information to yourselves until further notice. All students are allowed to leave if they wish to. The schedule will not change and everything will remain the same. You are all dismissed for the day."

Mina's hand shot up,"I thought you said the schedule would remain the same? Why are you dismissing us?"

"Because you need it. I need it. And I see no point in keeping you here today."

The class was still and silent for a few seconds before Kaminari whispered under his breath," It was bound to happen eventually.." Someone let out a snort and many others suppressed laughs. Then the room was in a flurry of movement as kids grabbed their things and left. Ash watched as the kids left, most in pairs or with friends in a flurry of conversation. Bakugo and Kirishima, Kaminari and Shinso, most of the girls left as a group, the guys following suit, and lastly before Ash and after Aizawa, Todaroki and Momo left. Ash got up and made her way to the window. She watched each 2-A student leave the grounds before she left herself. She changed in her dorm, then headed home. Home to her real bed.

Kaminari cringed as he recalled what he had said in class. He didn't mean that to come out, and he was just trying to relieve the tension in the room. He kept running different things he could have said in that moment when something punched him from behind. He looked over his shoulder to see Jiro stuffing her hands into her pockets, slightly glaring at him. He rubbed the sore spot on his shoulder, man she had a wicked punch, and cringed at her look.

"Why did you say that?" She was practically fuming.

"I don't know.. I was trying to relieve the tension. I didn't mean for that to come out. Especially like that." He looked away from her to avoid the disappointment on her face. Disappointment in him. He held back his cringe at that thought.

He heard her exhausted sigh. "Sorry. It's just...no I understand...I thought it was Uraraka..." He looked over to see her rubbing the back of her neck. She wasn't looking at him. He let his hand drop from his shoulder. "Hey you want to go do something in town?" He felt her eyes on him but refused the instinct to look at her. "I mean with all that's going on.. Iida goes missing, Mineta turns up dead, Bakugo acting strange... I just feel like you could use a break from all this crazy. We could go see a movie or something." he finally dared to look at her. Her shock soon faded into a small smile.

"Yeah..that sounds nice. I will meet you at the entrance."And then she was walking away towards the girls dorm. He smiled fully as he watched her retreating back then went to go get ready.

Aizawa leaned against his front door and tossed his sleeping bag into the foyer. He let out a long sigh and then smiled slightly at the sound of singing coming from the kitchen. Hizashi was home and the singing meant he was cooking. Aizawa made his way through the house until he came to the kitchen entrance. He was stunned into silence for a few seconds. Then he leaned against the door frame. "What are you wearing, Hizashi?"

Present Mic turned to look at Aizawa. "Shota!" he spread his arms wide and smiled. With his arms in the air Aizawa could fully see the pastel pink apron that said 'Kiss the Cook!' in bold black letters. "Do you like my new apron?"

Aizawa just sighed, shook his head, and let out a small chuckle. He pushed off the door frame and made his way to Hizashi. When he was about a foot away he grabbed hizashi by the waist and pulled him closer. His arms wrapped tightly around the slightly taller man's waist and he buried his head in his neck."Dork." Hizashi wrapped his arms around Aizawa's shoulders and held him for a few seconds. When he spoke his voice was calm and concerned. "How did your class take the news? I see you let them all go home since you are here early.."

"Surprisingly well."

Hizashi pulled away and looked at Aizawa's tired eyes and broken spirit. "Come on. Let's eat."
