Chp. 8

We were finally back in New York. Back at Matts place atleast. He said it would be safer if no one knew i was alive just in canse the guy tries to hunt me down. So for now, in a bit, hes gonna call Adam over.

Matt unlocked the door and honestly i was so excited to see Buddy. He opened the door and Buddy was already waiting, and then jumped all on Matt.

"Hey Buddy, i missed you to." He smiled, petting the dogs head. Buddy then came to me, jumping on me and almost making me fall.

"Hey Buddy!" I said excitedly as i pet him. Matt then took my hand and lead me over to the couch when Buddy had calmed down and layed down on his bed. He then took me, and pinned me down onto the couch where he is hovering over me.

"Come on Matty.. we gotta call Adam." I giggled by accident.

"Hes already on his way but maybe i want some alone time first." He whispered in my ear, making me laugh even more. Leaning down, he placed his lips on mine and i then places my hands on his cheeks. He lifted me up, setting me on his lap as he wraps an arm around my back. But as we were kissing, i felt something small hit my chest, causing me to pull back. When i did, i saw a necklace around Matt's neck that had my ring on it.

I reached up and gently grabbing it.

"So thats where it went." I smiled.

"Yeah." He says, lifted my chin to place his forehead against mine. I smiled and closed my eyes.

Interrupting us, we heard a knock on the door. Matt lifted me off his lap and to the seat beside us. He got up and opened the door, Adam walking in.

"Why am I here Walst?"

"Go over to the couch and you'll find out."

"Can we please hur--" He stopped when he saw me, freezing on the spot.

"B...Blaire?" He said shockingly. I nodded. He ran up to me, squeezing me in a tight hug.

"Ow ow ow loosen up on my back." I said with a sharp wince. But then i gasped loud when a very sharp pain came as an impact to my back.

"B-Blaire.." i heard Matt whisper, his voice laced with sadness.

I then fell to the ground in pain, realizing what had happened. Adam stabbed me. With a knife. In the back.

"NO!!" Matt screamed, pushing Adam back and coming over to me. I started to tear up from the pain and not wanting to die for real.

"Matty.." i cried.

"No no it's okay baby i promise." He sobbed, one hand stroking my cheek.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!" He screamed at Adam.

"Serves ya right honey." Adam said harshly. Except it wasn't Adam. It was the man who took me. Icould feel myself slipping from reality but i didn't want to. I wanted to stay here with Matt, Buddy, Brad, Ben, Neil, Issac, and even Barry. I don't want to be separated from them.

"Matty I'm scared." I cried, my vision starting to blur.

"No, Blaire stay with me. Everything will be okay." I heard but it was distant. And soon enough, everything was black.
