Zack's POV
It's a saturday and I'm out at a bar, which is normal for me on a saturday, what isn't normal is for there to be a completely trashed, hella attractive guy also at the bar at the same time as me, normally they all come around later or are there with a significant other but no, he was alone and living his life not able to tell what was the floor, what was the wall and what was the ceiling, the only thing he seemed to know was the bar. Anyway I walked over to the bar, taking a seat at my usual stool and waited for the bartender to be done making a drink for someone else when I heard the trashed guy order a couple mai tai's, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and claiming one was for me, now I'm not complaining because in his defence, he's hot as hell, but I've literally never met him before "hey dude, it's real sweet that you're getting me a drink but giving me your name first would be sweeter." I said, hearing the barman chuckle at how smooth I was trying to be "I'm uhh, Jack, who are you gorgeous" he slurred out, still holding onto me, I think mostly for support "I'm Zack, but you don't have to use that name" I chuckled, blushing a little "alright then, I hope cutie works just as well" he smirked a little, taking a drink of the mai tais we now had, I simply blushed and nodded, taking a drink as well, and after that, the night just got fuzzier and warmer.
I woke up late the next day, surprisingly back in my own bed, but I'm holding onto someone, and I'm pretty sure neither of us have clothes on, somewhere in my mind the name Jack is floating about but my head aches a little too much to open my eyes right now, that was until whoever it was started squirming, and okay yeah neither of us are wearing clothes, oops?? I finally opened my eyes, wincing a little from the sunlight streaming into the room, I glanced down and saw a mop of platinum blonde hair, yup, Jack. He started shuffling again, whining about his headache, he turned around and smirked a little when he saw me "hey cutie" he mumbled, pecking my lips softly causing me to blush again, making him chuckle "cute, you're blushing over a kiss yet we did all that last night." He pointed out, just making me blush more. "Anyway, if you're gonna stick around you're gonna have to come work out with me, at least for today." I said, looking at Jack as he pouted "but we're both hungover how the hell are you gonna exercise like that" he whined, making me chuckle "I'm used to it and it helps shift hangovers, so stop whining" I explained to him, messing up his hair more than it already was "ugh fiiiiiine" he groaned, giving in and agreeing with me.
We're now out getting coffee after working out, and we're actually hitting it off, he's actually very sweet and he's a lot deeper and serious than he lets on behind his goofy persona. Our date is about to end and Jack brought up going to go get mai tais again next weekend, I told him before we were doing that I was spending the week proving to him that there's more to life than just partying and drinking, getting a groan but I got him to agree, and me being me, I took my chance to then say the cheesiest thing that I could "I'll be your mai tai instead."
