"Are you sure you don't need a new pair of glasses? I'm anything but fit to model for Phyllis. All those models on stage have great cheekbones and I don't! I'm pretty flat-chested and my ass isn't doing very well either." I said.

Luke shook his head,"Well the cheekbones problem can be very easily solved by our dandy makeup artist. And haven't you realised? Most, if not all, models are pretty flat. Designers like flat models because models with curves often take the attention away from the piece for some reason."

"Well... I'm not really into fashion and stuff so I don't think I'm your ideal person." I retorted.

"Come on! Just try it out! I was here during all the pre-shows to find a suitable face for Phyllis's new brand but to no avail. Please just do this for me?" he pouted.

"Okay okay, just stop looking at me like that. But you have to let me try it out first to see if I am comfortable with it, deal?" I stuck a out a hand.

"Deal." he took my hand in his and shook it firmly.

After using the toilet, we both walked back to our seats. A wave of guilt crept up my spine as I saw Joey's face.

She was the one who always wanted to be a model but instead, I was the one who caught the attention of a spotter. Phyllis Vonde's spotter, no less.

I tapped Luke on the shoulder again.

"Psst Luke, would you consider finding a modelling spot for my friend Joey?" I whispered and jerked my head in Joey's direction.

"I don't think that's possible. Phyllis specifically requested for one suitable model. Not two. It's either you or her. But I bet $100 Phyllis would take you in a heartbeat. Joey's too curvy, she isn't made out for this." he said.

"It doesn't have to be for Phyllis. Just find her a modelling spot for anyone, this is her dream." I pleaded.

I could see the hesitation in his eyes before he finally sighed,"Alright I'll try. Message me a full body picture of her later so that I can show it to the designers. Oh I almost forgot," he tore a sliver off his sketchpad and scribbled something,"Here's my number. Tell me when you're available to meet Phyllis."
