"Good morning ladies. Now each one of you is hand picked by my nephew Luke from one of the award shows at each county. Ah, Sarahlyn? Why don't you have any makeup on?" she asked.

Holy frick. So that was what I was missing. Makeup.

"Uh well, Luke said the theme if this shoot is your true self, so I guess I should be showing up with my face bare." I made up a quick lie.

"Well done! You have truly understood what a theme is." Phyllis applauded.

Whew. That was close.

"Now all of you head over to the photoshoot area just there. Chop chop! No time to lose, my girls!" Phyllis exclaimed.

A blank white sheet was set as the background.

"Since the theme was your true self, we are not going make any changes to what you're wearing now, be it on your face or on your body. We will see how well you girls can do in your most comfortable state. First up, Chanel. Then Sarahlyn, then Macy and lastly Janet. And girls, meet your photographer Greg." Phyllis said.

Chanel confidently strode over and started to pose. Damn her motions were so fluid and natural.

She bent over and put her hands on the floor and shot the camera a seductive wink.

The whole set started laughing.

"Your... your tampon string HAHAHA!" Macy gasped with laughter.

Chanel ran off to the toilet with her face buried in her hands.

"Alright now, next please. I'll be returning to my office." Phyllis suppressed a smile.

Next. Next? Next!

That's me.

I awkwardly walked in front of the camera.

I attempted to emulate the actions of some of the poses I spotted last night from Seventeen. Oh god I feel so awkward and out of place.

"Honey, why do you look so forced? Just be natural." Greg said as he continued snapping photos of me,"Look over my head, come on. Like you're looking for something. Play with your hair. Change your level. Squat, sit, crawl whatever. Just keep moving yourself."

I did everything he said. I looked over his head, I played with my hair, I squatted, I sat on the floor and I crawled. It just didn't seem to be working out.

With a sigh, Greg whipped out his phone and started rapidly speaking, switching from English to some angry-sounding French.

"Phyllis says you're fired." Greg said.

As I was frozen, Greg quickly picked up his camera and click went the shutter.

"Ah perfect. So in the moment and natural." Greg nodded in approval.

Oh.

"Alright step right up Macy!" Greg said.
