Chapter 16

Beyoncé's POV

By Thursday you had finalized all your ideas with management and their publicist. It was up to you to organize a quarter of the events but you were in charge of making sure all locales were booked.

By noon you were able to head back to the studio to continue working independently. You stopped by Milkshake City to get the boys a treat so you could tell them some of the events.

You didn't have the credit card but you didn't mind paying since you had gotten a raise. Once you got to the shop you realized you didn't know what they liked so you asked the cashier for help. "Sure let's look at their photos and figure out what they are drinking".

The guy and you searched the wall for the boys and you seemed a bit sad when you saw Harry. You hadn't seen or spoken to him since you drove off Sunday morning from his home.

Once the drinks were determined you headed to the studio. When you walked in the boys were on break eating the infamous packaged sandwiches. "You're back!" Niall shouted excitedly. "Yes and I brought you all a treat!" you smiled as you put the drinks down on the coffee table they were sitting around.

You didn't even look at Harry because for some reason you felt guilty. "Thanks this is really sweet of you" Liam said with his straw in his mouth. You sat down could see Harry from the corner of your eye and he seemed to be avoiding eye contact with you.

"It's nice to have you back! It seems like I hardly have seen you, even at the party you disappeared" Louis said. Doesn't he know? Harry is his best friend I'm sure he has to know. "Yeah the party was a bit crazy" you sighed.

"Did I tell you lads? She hooked up with this bloke and he was terrible, if you know what I mean" Niall laughed. The three boys chuckled but Harry's face seemed to tense up.

"That sucks!" Zayn chuckled. You bit your lip as you observed Harry. "You don't have to be shy with us Beyoncé tell us how he went" "I rather not" you mumbled. "Aww come on" Louis insisted.

You stood quiet and couldn't help feeling terrible about the way Harry was basically being mocked by his friends because you had lied. "let's cut it out" Niall said since he noticed you weren't talking.

"I have to get working" your voice cracked. You got your bag and walked out to go into the little office to work. You dropped onto the chair and tilted your head to look at the ceiling.

Why am I feeling so guilty? Guys always do this. You hook up and move on. We are supposed to be casual. Then again we were never friends and maybe this mistake made everything even weirder.

You got up to go get a water and when you went into the back room Harry was in there drinking water as well. Something came over you and you ran to him to hug him. "I'm sorry".

He didn't move or return the hug. He was tense and distant. "I'm sorry about coming on to you and giving you the wrong impression" you said. "Like I said let's forget about it" he voiced seemed so different.

You let go of him since you were the only one holding on. " So we are cool?" "We were never cool, remember?" . You felt a lump on your throat because Harry seemed very harsh.

"I guess you are right" "Yeah I am. It was just another night". That hurt even more because you had planned on never being another girl that fell for Harry Styles' little games.

"Just another hook up" you mumbled. "Yeah but next time have a bit more dignity and not go between friends" he spat as he walked out.

What the hell is he talking about?

You ran out of the room to ask him what he was talking about but he wasn't in sight and you didn't want to go into the recording room and start a scandal.

You went back to the office and didn't come out at all, Niall came in around 6 pm to check on you. "Hey Beyoncé I'm sorry if we made you feel weird earlier" "It's fine" you said in a short breath of air because you were still bothered from what Harry had told you earlier.

"You don't seem fine, what's wrong?" you just shook your head and tried not to look at Niall because you felt you were about to cry. He kneeled down to look at you "you can talk to me" " It's fine I'm just being emotional for some reason".

Niall hugged you and it was quite comforting. "Do you think I'm slutty?" you whimpered. Niall chuckled a bit " Slutty? Of course not!" "Even if I had a one night stand?" "Hey we all have a bit of fun and some of the things we do don't define us" "Why are you so nice to me?" "Good question, I don't know.

I just like being around you" you sincerely smiled even though your eyes were watery. "I like being around you too" "It's funny that you are sort of my best friend" he smiled. "sort of" you laughed "ya know what I mean" he said.

"You are a great person Niall" you said as you hugged him. "I try" he laughed. You let go and wiped your eyes "Now do you and the boys want to hear about some of the different promotions we are going to do?""Yeah only Harry isn't here he left with Nick"

"Eh. One of you can tell him later" you smiled because you were glad that you didn't have to see Harry. You went through some of the different events but you were excited about the date event.

"Next week we will go to the US where the album will be finished. We picked 5 major cities: Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Chicago and Miami where we will have an acoustic show of 3 of your new songs plus q+a, then we will randomly select a girl to go on a date with you"

"How awesome! Are we all going on a group date?" Louis asked. "No. In LA Louis you will host the date, in New York Harry will host, Zayn will do Chicago, Niall will do Houston, and Liam will do Miami" "But some of us have girlfriends and I don't think they will like us on dates very much" Liam said concerned.

"It's more of a spend the day with One Direction not a romantic date, plus you will each have a body guard with you to keep an eye" "If you put it in that way then sounds great!" Liam smiled.

"What do we have to do?" Zayn asked. "It is completely up to you! You are in-charge of planning out the day so the girl gets to experience what you like to do" "Really? That's great!" Zayn said excited.

"What else are we doing in the US?" Niall asked intrigued. "Basic promotion like interviews, signings, and performances. We are also taking you guys to give you a bit of a vacation.

You will have at least a day off in between promoting and recording". "Sounds like we are going to have some fun in the states" Niall winked at the boys.

You smiled at them since you didn't know what they meant with their little facial expressions to each other but all you were really thinking of is the fact that you had to see Harry every day for most of the day once next week came.
