I read the newspaper sitting on the porch drinking coffee in my mug. It is a quiet morning.
No shadow of Heidi.
I'd like to see her. Just see her. I can't forget the last time I was with her. Why did she do that? I spent the last few days trying to understand. But I can't find an answer.

I turn off the TV. Nothing interesting passed on the screen of the device. I'm bored to the top of my head. I go up to the bedroom to write. But I can't resist the temptation to peek out the window. The lights in her house are out. That could mean I won't see her today.
I sit at my desk and open the notebook. For two hours little is written. I'm locked once again.
A familiar sound invades my room. It is a hard rock. And I know exactly where it comes from.
I get up and spy her house again. Now the lights are on and there is a movement inside. I am excited to hear that she is there. Even though I can't hear her voice, I'm happy to be sure she's okay.
After a while watching the house, my doorbell rings. Who could it be at this hour? I go down the stairs. From the peephole I see that she is there. It is a happy surprise.
I straighten my shirt. I open the door.
-Heidi?
-Hello Mr. Whitman.
-Any problem?
-Can I stay with you for a while? If not bother.
-You can. Clear. Please come in.
-Thank you, Mr. Whitman. I couldn't take it anymore at home. - She says it sitting on the couch.
-What about your party? Won't your friends miss you?
-It's exactly because of them that I'm here. I don't want to see them.
-Wait. - I sit on my armchair- Let me understand. Have you organized a party at your house, invited people and don't want to see them anymore? I'm a little confused.
-Yes. It is weird. But I'm feeling a bit suffocated. Displaced in my own home.
-You shouldn't feel that way. Aren't they your friends?
-Some are. I do not know.
-And your boyfriend?
She keeps looking at me and doesn't answer me.
-I don't want to be here anymore. – She gets up- Can we go out for a while?
-Where do you want to go? - I get up too.
-I don't know. On the way we will decide. I just need to take a walk.-She looks very strange, but I consent to her request.
I take the car out of the garage. Heidi sits in the passenger seat and we leave without a certain destination.
