chapter 19

Rapunzels P.O.V

i was standing at the gate to the garden waiting for Eugene. i didn't think he was going to come and i was about to go when i felt a hand on my shoulder.

"sorry i'm late." his voice was shallow and sexy. "but i got a suprise for you. close your eyes." i giggled as he put his hands over my eyes and let me down a path for a few minutes. then we stopped.

"are you ready." to which i nodded. he took his hands away to reveal a small round table with a white table sheet with a bottle of champagne and a candle.

"wow you can be realy romantic if you try."

"well thats why i come to this school. to learn how to charm the ladies." i went to sit down and he did that really cheesy thing where you pull the chair out and allow the lady to sit down. when we were both seated he opened the champagne and poured it into two classes.

"so where was the lost princess all of these years."

"well thats a secret i don't quite trust you with yet."

"fair enough. so how are you finding life as a princess."

"tiring."

"what's your favourite subject." we continued to talk mindlessly through out the night. he made me laugh and eventually we agree we should bring the date to an end.

"i just have one question. surely someone as princely and charming as you would have a long line of gorgeous girls wanting to go with you. why would you ask me to go with you."

"because i wasn't able to stop thinking about you since i first saw you. you intrique me. and it would be an honer to accompany the lost princess to the dance." he made me blush so much, i tried to hide my face and he just chucked under his breathe. "we should probably go."

he escorted me back to my room and we tried to be as quiet as possible."it was a pleasure meeting you." he whispered and kissed my hand and then stroked back a peice of my hair that had fallen over my face. "i guess i'll see you tomorrow."

"see you tomorrow." he left and as soon as he was out of sight i exhailed deeply and led myself lean against the door and stood there stupitly thinking about how special he made me feel. when i had collected my sanity i walked through the door to find that elsa, anna and even merida where sitting on my bed with a lamp.

"tell us everything." anna whispered. so i changed into my sleeping dress and sat down with them and told them everything.

"looks like you need to step up your game hiccup if you want to top that." to which hiccup groaned and merida blushed deeply. i wonder if she knows that she loves hiccup. at some point we all fell asleep and i had dreams of Eugene that night.
