Norman x Ray

Chapter 1

The sound of the alarm signalled a start to a new day in a certain raven's home. The sun was shining through the curtains onto the raven's face. The raven woke up and sat upon his bed. He had pale skin jet black hair that covered one side of his eyes and black eyes. The raven's name was Ray. Ray attended Gracefield high school and was in his 3rd year. Today was just another school day. He woke up at exactly 6 in the morning then he opened up his laptop and browsed the internet until 6:30. Ray closed his laptop and started to organise the things that he needed for the day.  Then he wore his uniform and headed to the bathroom to clean his teeth and wash his face.  Ray then headed to the kitchen and sat down at the stools. The smell of freshly baked pancakes invaded his nose.  "Good morning Ray, how many? " "Mornin mom 2 please" Isabella placed 2 pancakes on the plate and handed them to Ray. Ray finished his pancakes as fast as he could and placed them in the sink. Grabbing his bag and his keys and phone he ran out the door. " Bye, mom I'll be back before dinner". 

Ray was walking down the road to his school. The cherry blossoms were blooming around this time of the year and it made the roads more beautiful. It was 7:30 in the morning and it took him around 20 minutes to get to school on foot.  The school was nearly empty. Nearly there were a few students but not much considering the time was 7:50 and school started at 9. He walked to his classroom which was on the third floor. Ray was in the same class as 2 friends Emma and Don.  Emma always arrived just in time for class while Don came at a reasonable time like a normal student. Ray walked to his seat by the window and took out his notes. The first class of the day was math so he started to take notes down on his notebook while listening to music on his earphones. 

Don arrived at 8:23 and Emma arrived just 3 minutes before the bell. You could tell that she ran her way here. The bell rang and the teacher came in.  "good morning miss"  The class bowed and sat back down in their seats. Ray wasn't really paying attention. He was looking out the window and admiring the view from the window. " Today class we have a new student. He came from the UK so treat him well. You can come in now" The students of the class were whispering among themselves but a certain raven didn't care in the slightest. The door slid open and the new student walked in. He had white hair and pale skin and sea-blue eyes. "Introduce yourself to the class." "Yes, miss. Hello, my name is Norman and I came from the UK hope we get along" The boy ended the introduction with a dazzling smile. Meanwhile, at the back of the class, the raven's eyes widened as he whipped his head to look at the new student. There was no mistaking it. The white hair and blue eyes, he was sure that was him. "Norman."  Ray looked at Emma and Emma looked equally shocked. Their friend from 5 years ago had come back after just disappearing without telling them anything.
