Norman x Ray

Special New Years Chapter

"When is Ray coming? He is late!!!" Emma stomped her foot on the ground as she huffed. "I'm sure Ray will arrive soon it's only been 5 minutes Emma" "But Norman~~ I am hungry I want to go to the food stalls." Emma wailed "you guys can go first I'll catch up with Ray." "Are you sure Norman?" "Yes, now go and enjoy yourselves I'll catch up with Ray in a minute." "Ok then" Emma ran off with Don Gilda and Conny on her toes.

 Norman sighed and smiled as he saw Emma dragging the others along to the food stalls. Soon he could see a raven running towards him through the crowd. 

"Hey! I'm huh here huh." The raven spoke as he panted for air. "You sure took your time. You are never late what kept you in Ray?" Norman asked as he pats Ray's hair. "I told you I would be a little late didn't I?", "No you didn't." "Just had to help mom with a few things, by the way where are the others?" 

"They went ahead of us. Emma said she was hungry so I told them to just go. We can catch up they just left a few minutes ago let's go." Norman grabbed Ray's hand and started walking towards the food stalls. The two walked in silence hand in hand through the crowds both occasionally glancing at each other from time to time. 

"Why are you walking so slowly Norman. Shouldn't we be trying to catch up? You know how Emma is like." "No need to rush let's just enjoy it we won't have this peace and quiet when we get back together with the others you know?" As he said that Norman squeezed his hands tighter and a slight red hue appeared on Ray's face. 

"You get flustered really easily did you know that?... And it's really cute." "What?" The raven glared at the albino as his face got slightly redder, "see what I mean?" Norman smiled at the raven as the raven looked down at the ground. "Let's just quickly catch up with the others." Ray muttered, "sure." 

"Oi Ray Norman there you are! We've been waiting for you." "Yeah yeah sorry for coming late guys." "It's ok Ray want to eat some?" Don handed him his takoyaki. "Yeah thnx." 

The group of friends walked around the stalls eating talking and enjoying their time together. They went to different types of stalls to play games, win prizes and eat. The group spent hours like that talking to each other while walking from stall to stall. In the midst of it Norman and Ray could be seen holding hands at all times never letting go.  

The 2 lovers could be seen at the back of the group occasionally joining in on the chaos but otherwise, they were enjoying their own time together. "Guys the New Years fireworks will start soon, hurry we need to get a good spot," Emma exclaimed as she started to run off. "Wait Emma don't run!" Gilda ran after her soon the others followed and the 2 were left alone again. 

"Let's catch up to them slowly we still have 30 minutes before the fireworks." Norman whispered, "mhm." 

"Guys quickly their starting!" Emma exclaimed. The two arrived just in time for the fireworks. The group of friends and a small group of people sat on the hilltop admiring the view. The couple just a few steps behind them holding their hands together as the countdown began. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year!!!" BOOM! the fireworks went off at the end of the count in beautiful and dazzling colours, the crowd was watching the show in awe. 

"Happy New Year Ray. I love you." Norman uttered to Ray as the Raven returned the words to the albino "I love you too and Happy New Year to you too"  and Ray pecked him on the cheeks. Ray smiled in amusement as he saw Norman get flustered ever so slightly. They stood there on the hilltop, hand in hand just enjoying the fireworks and each other's company.

AN: Ok so this was supposed to come out on New Years but I just had a huge writer's block for some reason and couldn't finish it until today. The updates will be more regular for sure. Probably one chapter a week maybe up to 2. Cause we're back in lockdown. And do you prefer them being called as raven and albino or by their names? Anyway hope you enjoyed this chapter.
