Chapter {9}- Family

Klaudia's POV
I went home skipping happily and safely knowing I had told my classmates and teachers that if I don't give one of them a phone call by 5 pm then to call the police. Plus I had Skylark and Meghan right beside me. I bid them goodbye as they walked away. I watched their backs intently,for a while, looking out for them but sighed and went in the house as they disappeared.

I went home to see that my sisters, Fleur and Jocelyn, had already come home and settled on the couch in front of the TV with their phones and everything.

"Hello Fleur, Hi Jocelyn! How are you guys?" I asked.

I was greeted with two sudden hugs and crying from my sisters. I hugged them back and said, " Hey, what's wrong? Did someone hurt you guys? Or did both of your boyfriends break up with you? I swear to god if they did then they're seriously gonna get their butt beaten up by me! I don't mind using my fighting skills on them."

My face was as red as my hair and if possible it got more redder when they said no. " Then why are you guys crying?" I asked, confusion sewn on my face.

" We heard what happened yesterday. I'm so sorry that we weren't there for you. We were so worried about you that we came home 5 hours earlier but you weren't here so we asked Ace and he said you were at school so we were waiting for you." said Fleur while tears streamed down her face like a waterfall. I hugged her and Jocelyn as I explained everything to them and as I let go I remembered about helping the police with the investigation so I told them and hurried upstairs.

I passed Ace's room so I got inside and told him " Hey Ace, I'm home! Please get ready quickly cause we're gonna go for the investigation, ok?" " Is Mr. Lee going to be there?" He replied looking at me with hopeful eyes. I mentally face palmed myself as I thought 'Seriously Ace?' I said yes and left the room not wanting to be any more late. I called my classmate, Nerissa so she could tell the teacher about it.

I took a bath and wore a white top and skinny jeans and let my hair fall lose around my waist. I took my phone, a notepad with a pen and some treats in a black handbag with me.

I went to Ace's room to see him ready, sitting on his bed, fiddling with his shoelaces, having no idea about what he should do.

I began laughing at the scene when I saw he looked at the shoes and pouted. I went in his room with a smirk on my face asking, " What happened, buddy? Can't tie your shoelaces yourself?" There was hint of sarcasm in my voice. He looked at me with pout and said " Can you tie it for me sis? I went to Jocey sis but she had gone grocery shopping and Fleur sis was with a boy with her mouth on his mouth like mommy and daddy so I just came back to my room to try and figure out how to do it myself." " I burst out laughing when he talked about Fleur and her boyfriend.

Better not tell him anything.

I helped him wear his shoes and we went downstairs. I went outside and saw Mr Lee standing beside a police car. We greeted him as we got on and started our ride.

'New things await' I thought.
