Hi, my name is Keerthana, Keerthy for short. I have the most amazing friends, Sri Divya (Divya for short), Amala (Ammu for short), Aishwarya (Aishu for short) and Samantha (Sam for short). All five of us work in the same office, and we are known for our strong friendship since our four years in Law School. We have held each other's hands through many hardships and here we are. We are your typical Tamil girls, that are successful lawyers that are honest, meek and traditional women.
People who we work with constantly tell us that we don't know we were born from the same mother, but they only say that to remind us of how alike we are. But honestly, we all know that isn't true. We share so many similarities, but at the same time there is a difference that can tell my friends and I apart; Divya, Ammu, Aishu and Sam have a Mangalsutra tied with three knots around their necks, whilst I am still wearing a 14 carat necklace, that was gifted to me by my parents on Graduation Day. I try to avoid the thought of not being loved, but I always forget how my mum and dad have showered me with everything I have ever wanted.
Ever since I was a teen, I was confident that my marriage would be with someone that makes me feel like a princess. My besties have had a love marriage, as their parents didn't mind.
Divya is married to Sivakarthikeyan, whose career is mainly towards acting in small Drama shows (but boy, am I glad that I have a friend like this, who could be useful for surprise parties 😉). Ammu is married to Anirudh, whose life is dedicated to three things: 1) Music 2) Music 3) and only Music. Sam is married to Vijay, a polite police officer (you don't wanna see his bad side, so don't be a criminal) and last but not least, Aishu, who is completely attached to Prakash, who is "your average perfect boy, with a perfect life." She rambles on about him at work. Appavum sonnaan, ivana kalyanam pannitaa namma life-e gaali.
