I glimpsed a broad, average height figure reflected in the mirror, noting this, I immediately swung my head around to get a better look.

"You?!" I whisper-shouted.

Ignoring my question, he smirked at me, and nodded that boyish nod... I was deeply lost in my thoughts, trying to figure out what he could possibly be doing here, when a finger snapped in my face.

"Hello?! Yaaravathu irukkangla?" Aishu snapped.

"Hello?! Is anyone there?" Aishu snapped.

"Huh, who what when where why?" I blurted, like an idiot.

"I said do you already know him?" Divya responded.

After a very long and silent pause, I managed to find the words to explain who he was.

"Yeah, I mean--"

"Listen. I'm not here to introduce myself, that's for another day. Now will you please hurry up, everyone is waiting downstairs."

"Tell them she'll be there in three minutes," Ammu said quietly, slowly shutting the door on him.

"Yaaradi avan, thimiraa pesittu irrukaan, neeyum summa paarthutte irrukke?"

"Who the hell does he think he is? He's talking s***, and you didn't even say a word against him?"

"Seri seri, tension aagaathe, please," Divya calmed everyone down, reminding them that this was a moment to cherish.

"Okay okay, don't stress too much, please," Divya calmed everyone down, reminding them that this was a moment to cherish.

I was zoned out to even care about what was happening around me, since I saw him walk through the door (that was attached to my bedroom)- did this guy have any sense of manner?

"Okay guys, let's go downstairs..." I said, clearly tired of this confusion. I didn't know what life was anymore. I felt like my life was a jigsaw, and there was only one piece missing- my soulmate.

As I was cautiously walking down the stairs, with my four acquaintances, I was debating on whether I should tell them about my alleyway encounter earlier, or not. In the end, I just decided to let them notice what happened to my phone... I obviously didn't want to stir any problems ;)

Aishu escorted me into the guest room, through the corridor, which was beautifully decorated with lilac and gold balloons, that were floating amongst themselves, barricaded from the ceiling, unable to reach its destiny...
