Author's Note:
Hey guys!!
It's been a very long time... I think, almost about a month since I left Wattpad for good. But, I have a confession to make. I miss you guys so much!! When I left, I'd never have thought I'd download the app again... But the temptation was killing me... Even though the predicament could've ruined my entire life... But anyways, I'm back!! With a new chapter, made with love ❤️❤️❤️When I opened my bedroom door, I felt as if I was walking into my dreams...
I was looking at the most beautiful pattu saari in the entire world. It was hot pink and orange, with small diamonds on the body piece. The blouse was stunning- hot pink, fading into orange with a golden border and diamonds to top it off. And next to this masterpiece, stood my best friends...
Every one of them were beaming and smiling valiantly. I tilted my head, confused.
"Why are you smiling like you've just tailored this saari?"
"We haven't tailored it, but we're gonna doll you up to make you look like a goddess!" All four of them chorused.
"Okay. But why??"
"You'll see when you go downstairs..." Aishu said.
I think I knew where this was heading...
After several centuries of silence amongst the world, I asked..."Enna ponnu paaka vaaraangalaa?" I questioned.
"Are they here to ask me to be the bride?" I questioned.
Without answering my question, "Maapla super! Neeye mayangiduve!" Sam replied, whilst applying a radiant, matte, red lipstick on my tender lips.
Without answering my question, "The groom is handsome! Even you'll fall for him!" Sam replied, whilst applying a radiant, matte, red lipstick on my tender lips.
"Then why don't you marry him, if he's soo handsome?" I said nonchalantly, earning death glares from my victim. :P
I know that this dude isn't going to live up to my expectations, so there wasn't any point in dolling me up. I only stayed quiet for three reasons.
1. My best friends are probably so excited to see my reaction to this whole event.
2. I'm not sure if my parents would expect me to reject this random dude.
3. I really wanted to wear this saree since I first laid my eyes on it. 😊But despite these factors, I still tried...
I started of by saying,
"How many times do I have--" until I was very rudely interrupted by Sam's scolds. Oopsies!"AARRGHHH! KONJAM INTHA PERIYA VAAYA MUDRIYAA?? ENTHA NERAM PAATHAALUM NOIYE NOIYE NU SOLLITTE IRU!"
" AARRGHHH! CAN YOU PLEASE CLOSE THAT BIG MOUTH OF YOURS?? ALWAYS TALKING!"
"Okay, chill, dude!" Divya said, earning a grateful smile from me.
"Let me explain to you, about what is going on in my life. Please!" I exclaimed, trying not to ruin my makeup.
"Oru chance kudu, Sam," Ammu requested.
"Give her a chance, Sam," Ammu requested.
"Seri, seri, aanaa takkunnu sollu," Sam ordered, her temper finally cooling down.
"Okay, but make it quick," Sam ordered, her temper finally cooling down.
I didn't know how to put this in words. I didn't want to see that random guy, waiting to ruin my life...
"Kuddy's, I have something to tell you... I'm in lo--"
I stopped. I was rudely interrupted again, but this time, my friends weren't looking at me, but past me, with their jaws hitting the floor, when I heard the door creek open...
