... Because it's rude to start without one, isn't it?

I'm whatever my username is here, but you can also call me whatever you want.

You won't get to know much about me, sadly, but know that I have - partially, and sadly not in the way that most of you would want - succeeded in becoming a mythical.

Physically, I don't think anything changed in me. I hope my body will rot the way it is supposed to, at this point it's all I ask for from it.

But there's way to go back to the spirit realms, or even go in other realms if you want. But it's a lot more dangerous, and a lot more depressing than what most of you have here.

Subliminals work; they just aren't efficient enough to bypass the laws of physics. See them as curses, binding things to stay as they order. Extremely powerful ones, that cannot be removed, unless you know how to already. Nothing that you can do, most likely.

They do influence what you are made of, though. A normal human is made of two things, the mind, and the body. The mind is the soul, the emotions you feel, your personality, and your "astral body" or whatever you would prefer calling it.
That is what gets influenced by subliminals. The mind, in return, can influence the body, but only to it's own power. Stuck in a human body under our laws, it can do basic human stuff. Not all that interesting, eh?
The body is what you are currently made of, flesh, bones, human blood... But also your experiences, your memories. It's hard to get them to attach to your mind, but possible. All of them, though, seem unlikely.

I was a normal human, with an already mythical mind. Obviously, I wanted a body to go with it, so I started subliminals. Although they did make my mind stronger, nothing physically happened. I thought, for a while, but I quickly lost hope.

I turned toward magick, with similar results, and then, finally, spirits.

Now, the funny thing is that, because memories belong to a body, it's actually not that uncommon for the mind to change. Might have happened to you already. Someone get pulled out, someone rushes in, after a few seconds it's like it never happened.

I fought back for a bit, but I had underestimated how far I went, and what was in front of me. It's not a stupid mistake, it just happens, sometimes.

Now I'm gone, but a new I is here. The one talking. Memories belong to bodies, so it's not that hard to adapt. But if you lived long enough in the astral, some things that happen become scars, and follow you like memories.

Ever remembered something, only to realise it would in no way have been possible? Some little things, not clear memories, just... Hints. Do you remember the last time you were you?

Regards, I.
