Prologue

Warnings: None in the prologue - The first chapter is long so you have been warned! Please do give it a chance though. The next one's wont be as long, but they will be a pretty decent amount of writing in them.

Word Count: 2,486

Info: In this A.U (Alternate Universe) Izuku Midoriya is in college with everyone in class 1-A. In this college everyone has 3 years to become the best of the best! Everyone knows each other fairly well, and even 1-B student's attend this college called Yuuei (U.A). In this Academia (Academy) the student's learn how to start a life in the arts! They all came to succeed and do great things! They all wanted to be the same thing, artists of some sort. Drawing, Digital, Painting, photography, modeling, acting, writing, you name it! A man named All Might (Toshinori Yagi) know's how to do all of these things. That's why he is one of the most famous people around the whole world, especially Japan. Izuku aspires to be an artists just like him.

All Might doesn't have a soulmate, well, let me rephrase that - he probably has a soulmate, he just doesn't at the moment. He has had one in the past but she/he sadly died. He hasn't had one ever since (it was not Nana Shimura). Nana was like a mom to him, so he became famous and helpful with charity to give people a symbol of peace and hope in a world full of soulmates and non-soulmated.

Katsuki Bakugo goes to this college. He got a scholarship, as well as everyone who is in class 1-A. Everyone had to go through an entrance exam where Katsuki happen to ace every single one of the exams. Katsuki is in the process of become an artist. He want's to excel in drawing. He was always good at things, ever since he was little. After one day of getting praised and actually having someone pay for his art he became mean. A bully. He soon bullied Izuku because he wasn't the best at art, and the fact that he learned he may never have a soulmate.

20% of the population don't have soulmates. You can find out if you are going to have a soulmate at the age of 4 by going to the doctors. They will confirm by seeing if you have an extra joint in your toe. It's an odd way to find it out but that's how it works. You can also find out if you have a soulmate by a mark that appears on a part of your body like a tattoo. If it's very detailed than you and your soulmate have a strong bond and one of them has trouble in life. If it's plain and simple, than it's not bad, but it's nothing special either.

Katsuki was mad that Izuku made it into the artistry course but he had to deal with it. They were in their second year of college at this point. In the beginning of the year Katsuki was kidnapped because he had potential and a bunch of thugs that named themselves L.O.V (league Of Villains) broke into the U.S.J where everyone was working on different art strategies. Izuku tried to save him but ended up breaking his arms in the process. He gave a lot to get into this course. He has always loved Katsuki as a best friend unconditionally but something else lingers there. Almost as if something was telling him to be more than friends. Katsuki, however, has too much pride and was slowly hurting Izuku's chances at finding a soulmate.

That brings us here, the present time. Year two, 19 years old. Class 1-A lives in dorms while the rest of the other students don't have dorms (yet). The L.O.V are still after the U.A Academy but they haven't shown up after awhile. Izuku, All Might's successor, has a long journey ahead of him. Right now it's summer break and they are heading back to school. Some people where allowed to stay in their dorms while other went home for the summer.

"Bye mom! I'm heading back to my dorm early so I can set up and work on my project!" Izuku says grabbing his luggage wearing a white T-Shirt with the word 'flannel' on the front, and dark red jeans with a few rips on the cuffs and knees of the jeans. He wore a brown coat because of how chilly it was today, and the colors he wore somewhat complimented each other. He was wearing black boots that went a little past his ankle. He had his red shoes in his suitcase. He would never get rid of those things. The iconic red shoes were a little beat, but they would never look old and broken, even if he tried to make them that way.
