chapter 1

It the middle of the night and I have chosen to go for a walk like usual due to my insomnia. It drives me crazy. Long walks always eases my mind and helps me think more clearly.

I walk up the muddy hill. It been raining non stop lately. I suddenly came to a complete stop when i heard an agonizing cry. It sounded almost like a wolf howling and slowly died and became a human cry. "What the hell was that?"

"Okay...That was werid and any person in there right mind would run." I started running up the muddy hill when I suddnely found myself slipping off the side due to the wetness of the ground.

"Shit...I am going to die."

I waited for my body to tumble down the hill before agonizing pain could flood me. Nothing happened.

I opened my eyes to see i was holding on for deer life and death to a tree root on the side of the hill. "Aaaahh." I started screaming.

"I'm going to die! I'm going to fucking die! This can't be happening to me."

I found my hands slowly slipping of the root. "No! No! No!...."I looked down at where I was going to fall and let just say. If i had an option between being shot in the head and falling of this hill. I did take a bullet in the head a hundred times and more. Than drown in a mud slide.

I can already see the headlines. Vet student Larina was found dead in a muddy river after going for her usual night walks.  Imagine dying because you went for a walk. That just down right ridiculous.

"Try and reach out for my hand. I will catch you." I heared a males voice above me. "Let go of the root."

"You are crazy!" I yelled at him with my eyes closed.

"Let go of the root! He will catch me. The hell he will! What did I do to deserve this?"

"Can someone just wake me up from this stupid nightmare!" I screamed as the root broke. "Help me!"

"Lord forgive me for all my sins. I'm coming to you."

My body made contact with the river. It was at that very moment i wished I had taken the swimming classes they had offered us last week. "I'm going to die in a mud slide." What a way to go out. I thought to myself.

Kals Pov

"I told her to grap hold of my hand! Humans!" I jumped in behind her. She was sinking real fast. I'm guessing she can't swim.

I took hold of her. I pulled her up to the surface with super speed thanks to my werewolf powers. The river forceful force rushed us towards the end of the cliff.

"This is bad!"

I tossed the girl on my shoulders heading towards land. My wolf strength was wearing out due to my wounds. I was happy when we finally reached land where I gently placed her body near under a tree. I found myself falling next to her. My arm hovering over her body before I blanked out.

Larina's Pov

I woke up and it was still dark. I found myself punking out water. "Am i in hell?" I tried to stand up but i found move. "Something is holding me! I'm defiantly in hell. It probably some creature from the under world."

I started screaming. My breathing increased. I could feel my heart was ready to explode.

"Damn you can scream." I heard a familiar males voice again. "Mind to shit up now?" It said irritation clear in it voice.

I checked my left jersey pocket for my cell phone. I put on the flash light. I was shocked to find a half naked guy next to me. He only had shorts on which seemed to have been torn my something. His eyes were closed. He had long eye lashes that made him look cute. His red hair was tied back. I nearly had a heart attack when i saw how badly he was bleeding
bleeding on his right thigh and his chest looked like something had scratched it with claws down to his stomach.

"Oh my word! Your bleeding." My eyes enlarged. "Shit. Your bleeding. Like really really bleeding."

"I know i am bleeding. Anyone with two eyes. Let alone one. Can see I'm bledding."I took of my Jersey trying to put pressure on his chest wound.

"Rude much or is that your way of asking for help?"

He opened his bright green eyes which met my dark brown eyes."Holy shit."

"You have the most brightest, scary yet beautiful eyes I have ever seen in my life." I continued putting pressure on his wound.

"I'm so stupid. Who compliments someone whose bledding to death? I'm so werid."

"Thanks... what are you doing?" He snatched my phone from my ear. I gave him a crazy look.

"I was calling for help." I saw my phone floating in the mud river.

"I don't care how cute he is. This guy is crazy."

"Your a vet, you can help me yourself."

"How the hell would you know I am a vet?"

"You smell like dogs." I found my eyes twitching. His defiantly rude.

"I don't think working with dogs is the same as working with humans." I faked a smile giving him are you dump look.

"I am a dog. You can work on me." He said smirking.

"Who in there right mind has time to smirk in a serious situation as this?"

"Your a dog?" I said sarcastically in a mocking tone. "You don't say."
