You know, every teenager hates waking up in the morning to an alarm when they have to go to school. Me? Well, it's different for me this morning. Instead of waking up to my usual alarm, I woke up to my brother jumping on my bed and yelling at the top of his lungs!

"Get out of my room Leon!"

"You can't make me!"

I glare at him and narrow my eyes.

"You wanna bet?"

A shocked expression covers his face and he backs out of my room and dissapears. Rolling my eyes, I put the covers back over me.

"Two more minutes."

But of course, my mother wouldn't allow that, so groaning, I rolled out of bed in my Harley Quinn pajama pants and Beetle juice shirt, and stood up, immediately getting light headed. Then my mind went to John. I swear to god I'm gonna punch him. Why'd he tell Elle? Now she's gonna be up my ass about not telling her about Catie's latte incident. I put on a ripped pair of faded jeans that I grabbed out of my dirty laundry and decided that I was too tired to change my shirt.

"A little bit of dog hair never hurt anybody, huh Scarlett?"

I look at the bottom of my mirror to see her wagging her tail and looking up at me. I smile and scratch her ear. I love her so much. I look into the mirror and pull my messy, curly hair into a loose pony tail. I brush my teeth, grab my backpack, and tell mom goodbye before riding my bike to school. The fall air poked at my cheeks. On the way to school, I thought about love. I wished yet again, to feel love toward a cute guy. As I stop my bike at the stop light, I see Catie pull up in her cadillac on the opposite side of the street from me. She didn't notice me. She was too busy fixing her mascara in her mirror to really notice me there on my bike, staring at her, wishing she was dead.

'Hey, can you help me?"

I snapped out of my trance and looked over to see a girl looking at me.

"U-um. With what?"

"You go to school here right? I'm new here."

"Oh... yea. I can show you around I guess."

We cross the street and I walk my bike sense she was walking. She had such beautiful curly locks of red hair. Her freckles were everywhere, and her big green eyes stuck out the most with the orange and red leaves falling around her. Suddenly, my face wasn't so cold anymore.

"So uh, what grade are you in?"

Most awkward thing I think I've ever tried to do, start a coversation with a complete stranger.

"I'm starting highschool! I'm gonna be a freshman! So exciting huh!?"

Her bright eyes were looking dead into mine.

"Y-yea. I'm a sophmore so, I get that. My best friend is a freshman this year too. So, what brings you to Clear Water?"

Her face grew annoyed. She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

"My mom got yet another divorce. So we moved. This was the third guy."

I nodded and locked my bike up to the school bike rack.

"Well, lets talk about something better hm? Can I see your schedule?"

She rumaged through her bag. I couldn't help but notice that her backpack had patches on them. A NASA logo, an astronaut, and a moon patch.

"Got it! Here ya go!"

She handed me a crumbled up paper that had doodles on the edges. The doodles had little astronauts and stars and planets. They were so, cute. I unfolded the paper.

Ivy Hendroff

Grade: 9

Homeroom: 109- Bulington

I scoffed at the name. I wish Mrs. Bulington would just mind her own business sometimes.

"Well, your homeroom teacher is Mrs. Bulington. She's my math teacher, she's nosy, just an FWI."

She snickered and opened the door.

"Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure to stay quiet."

She winked at me and walked through the door. The warm air felt great on my face. The smell of cinnamon from the office's candle smelled like heaven. I looked over to Ivy. Her eyes were bright and her mouth was partly open.

"You good?"

"I-It's no nice here."
I looked around. Our school had long and wide corridors and chandaliers. The school was old, and victorian styled. I kind of liked it that way.

"Yea, it is. Well, Mrs. Bulington's room is down this way."

She turned to me and smiled a big dorky smile. I gave an awkward smile and looked ahead. This chick was giving me some really weird vibes. Soon enough, we reached the room.

"Here it is! She will be able to show you your class after this one, and then that teacher will show you the next class, and so on."

"Thanks! What's your name by the way?"

"Um... It's Lune. Lune Mathews."

"Well, thank you for showing me around! Maybe I'll have your lunch period!"

"Heh heh, yea. Maybe. I-I gotta go. My friend will be waiting. Hope you have a good day!"

I turned and started walking away. That was the most stressful thing I think I've ever done. I was turning the corner when I heard footsteps behind me getting louder and louder. They were fast. And I knew... that they were Elle's. I turn around to soon be hit hard and next thing you know, I'm being thrown about like a toy.

"Oh my god you made a friend!?"

"W-what!? No! I just showed her to her homeroom!"

Elle gave me a cheeky smile and nudged my shoulder.

"She's kind of cute."

My face got warm.

"So?"

Elle's face grew pale and her eyes widened.

"Oh my god Lune!!! You're gay! This makes SO much sense! It's no wonder you don't like guys!"

"Shush! I'm not gay dude! I just think she's pretty."

She smiled an evil grin and gave me another nudge.

"You totally think she's hot. Don't even lie."

I rolled my eyes and walked to my locker. Well, at least this new girl made Elle forget about Catie.

"Hey, this new girl is great and all, but don't even think for one second that you're getting out of not telling me about Catie."

Well shit. There goes that.
