Green Eyes

¨Lune, wake up.¨

My eyes opened, and I winced in pain. My face hurt.

¨Oh no, you're all bruised! What happened?¨

My eyes squinted from the blinding light. 

¨What time is it?¨

She giggled a bit and grabbed her phone.

¨What are you laughing about?¨

¨You're all black and blue, yet you're worried about the time? It's a little passed 10.¨

She smiled, and I sat up, immediately feeling a throb in my head. I winced and Ivy stopped smiling. She grabbed my arm and leaned me back down. 

¨What even happened? I don't remember a thing after Catie knocked me out.¨

I groaned.

¨I beat the shit out of her. That's what I did. I showed her what it's like when she messes with someone I love.¨

I closed my eyes. 

¨I-I mean my friends! I meant when she messes with my friends. heh. ¨

She smiled and looked away, covering her face. Oh no, I said something on accident. She grabbed a bag of iced peas she found in my freezer and put it against my eye. I winced in pain. 

¨I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you.¨

I smiled, to let her now it was okay. I laid there and let her fix me up. We just sat there in silence for what seems like forever. 

¨I-I have a question.¨

I removed the bag of peas and looked at her. Her face was so beautiful, it made my face warm again. I looked away. 

¨Hit me.¨

She moved around a bit.

¨When I woke up, um... Why was I... Why were we laying with each other?¨

I stopped breathing. 

¨Ummm. Well uh, when I carried you home, I-¨

¨Wait! You carried me home!?¨

I turned and looked at her.

¨Well, yea. How else did you think you got here?¨

She turned red all over. 

¨I'm sorry, are you okay?¨

¨Heh! I'm totally fine!¨

She smiled and I didn't even notice that I was staring. She locked eyes with me. I stopped smiling and couldn't take my eyes off of hers. Her eyes were so, green and big. She stopped smiling and stared back at me. I leaned in closer, and she moved her eyes from mine, to my lips, then back to my eyes. I closed my eyes, and it seemed my body just took over. Next thing I knew, my lips were against hers. She backed away for a second. My eyes flung open,

¨I-Im so-¨

I didn't finish my sentence, cause she grabbed me and pulled me in for another kiss. My eyes flutter shut and I pulled her back onto the couch. I wrapped my arms around her waist and didn't let go. She pulled away and when I opened my eyes, she was red and was smiling a huge dorky smile. I smiled back and she burried herself into me. I squeezed her and didn't let go. I didn't even feel the pain that Catie caused anymore.
